My husband and I decided on this hotel after doing a lot of research on trip advisor. We got the blue airport bus to the very last stop which is Plaça de Catalunya from here it was very straightforward. Once off the bus it was the first Main Street on the right. The bus was 5.90 euro each & took... More

This is an old building, beautifully renovated. It has a pool, but unfortunately we were there when it was too cool to swim. The excellent breakfast was included and the service was very good. We were there for a conference but it was great to be served a welcome glass of cava. The rooms are equipped with good coffee machines,... More

The rooms may be a little small, but very comfortable and tastefully decorated. The breakfast is extremely complete and great quality. The whole staff is extremely friendly and nice. Little details make the service very pleasant. The place to be!

I stayed here from March 15-21, 2015 for a business trip. My room on the 4th floor was sleekly decorated in lemon yellow and white lacquer furniture, and kind of small, but everything from the bed to the desk chair was comfortable. The bathroom was minuscule (sink was not in bathroom but in bedroom) but shower head and water temp/pressure... More

The hotel was ok but seemed kinda cheap. The rooms were small but the terrace was very nice and the location was great. Not exactly what we expected. Thomas was very polite and helpful. He made the experience much better. They did give us two good restaurant suggestions, petit pot and cafe alfonso.

I chose this hotel because of the location, which is really very central, and just across the street from a Metro. However, the room and bathroom size, furnishings, and amenities are lacking for a 4-star level. There was nothing wrong with any of these, but as a very experienced traveler I would say this is a 3-star hotel, not more.... More

This hotel is in a very good location, so close to every thing we wanted to see. Then hotel is very clean and then staff are very friendly and helpful especially the young lady in the bar. We would definitely return again.

This hotel is in the perfect location for exploring the city on foot. The Aerobus from the airport drops you in the main square, which is 2 minutes from the hotel. The hotel is in the middle of the 'districts' of Barcelona, The Gothic Quarter is below you, and the Eixiemple area is above you. We walked and saw everything... More

Just 5 minutes walk from Place Catalunya and the top end of La Rambla. We got the Aerobus straight from the airport cost under €6 p/p and found the hotel without any problems. Were 15 minutes early to check in and our room wasn't ready so took our complementary glasses of Cava and waited in the courtyard garden. Room was... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
