This place was perfect, and for the price out of this world! The staff was incredibly helpful and nice, the rooms were decorated nicely, and very clean. The pictures definitely accurately portray how the hostel is. It was really more of a small hotel! Wish we would have taken advantage of the balcony/patio area, we only discovered how wonderful it... I would definitely return to this hostel, the dorms were spotless, the staff friendly and helpful, good lounge/relaxing area, good location. Good facilities. Only improvement was if there was hair dryers, the shower doors were more private. And there was a freezer. Suitable for all ages.

This hostel is a really nice little hostel located within 15 mins of the sagrada familia by foot. It is the cleanest hostel I have ever stayed in and the facilities are great! A great modern kitchen, plenty of living space and great sized lockers in the dorms. The beds are also made every day with clean sheets which makes... More

The hostel is really nice. Great kitchen, bathroom, showers, and rooms. We were in the 3 bed private room which was really cool, even with a little TV. The location is really great with easy walking access to Casa Batillo. The outdoor area is huge and really nice to sit in and enjoy a beer in the sun or shade.... More

Hi, I recently visited Barcelona with my partner and we found Casa Kessler quite convenient. As Barcelona is a very easy city to explore walking (at least for me... made most of it walking or biking), the hostel was placed in the Enric Granados street, which has many nice cafes with terraces and diverse cooking, and not far from the... We went there as a couple and would definitely come again! It has everything you could wish for and think of: central location, good neighborhood, accessibility, fair price, professional attitude of the staff, romantic atmosphere, and eclectic style. The combination between an old building and modern decorations creates a unique and welcoming atmosphere, both comfortable and luxurious at the same... More

The staff there were very friendly and helpful. They provided us with useful tips. We had a group of five and they were able to arrange us into one room (with 6 beds). Thanks so much! The patio area is a must see!

The owner is wonderful! She makes sure to help you if you need anything. This is a boutique hostel, good location, great ambiance. Highly recommended. There is a nice "terraza" to seat and have your coffee,

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
