I stayed here in June and had a wonderful time. The hostel is quite small but very clean and comfortable with a good kitchen- everything you'd look for in a hostel! We stayed in a 6 bed dorm and had a great time- enough plug sockets (often a problem in hostels), plenty of room and a great night's sleep. The... More

Perfect loaction for sagrada familia! It also included a guide of good places to eat, drink ect. Staff were very helpful and the place was very clean. Very quiet hostel, but a good first one to stay at. Juat make sure you are alert when looking for it as it is very tricky to spot, and is located inside residentual... More

My friend and I stayed at the De Lis Guesthouse for 6 nights in May 2013. We had a 4 bed dorm to ourselves the whole time which was great. The common areas were amazing, the kitchen was huge and great to cook in (with delicious food bought from the markets) and the living area made it feel like a... More

I'm writing this review at 00:30 on a Monday from De Lis Guesthouse since I can't sleep with the other guests' noise! The hostel itself is pretty nice, the location is good, in a local/residential area with wide streets and parks, near a metro stop and within walking distance of all the centric attractions. It's in an apartment building with... More

Amazing Hostel, the people was really friendly, the place was perfectly clean, the rooms size was perfect. The location is perfect and the people at the hostel give you the perfect tips to enjoy the city to the maximum. The only thing better than the hostel is the staff. The people there is amazing and they take you to the... More

I traveled all over Europe for a few months and my favorite accomodation was De Lis Guesthouse by far. It's housed in the second floor of an apartment building and has the feel of renting an apartment with all of its amenities rather than a hostel It was clean, modern, stylish and quiet. Easy walk to all attractions, Las Rhamblas... More

Staying in Gracia

Neighborhood Profile
Gracia literally stands out from the pack. It used to be an independent town until late into the 19th century. Though it’s just a short commute away from the center, a visit here feels like you’re in a whole different city. The bohemian vibe has drawn many international artists to this area, resulting in a wide selection of galleries, live music and artsy boutique stores. The nightlife is centered around the vibrant Gracia’s plaças, where young and old gather to enjoy a drink outside. Carrer de Verdi, its main street, offers affordable restaurants and a movie theater that screens new as well as classic films in their original language. However Gracia's greatest treasure lies just up the hill at Guell Park, where Antoni Gaudi's vibrant and revolutionary art sculptures stand atop unequaled views of Barcelona.
