To me this is the perfect example of what a proper hostel should be! The staff were really welcoming and helpful and make you feel at home. They have worked hard to make a hostel with a really great atmosphere - a great place if you're travelling alone. It's not pristine, but I think that adds to its charm. Location... More

Very friendly hostel. Not only is it clean, well located, spacious kitchen and common areas. The staff gave an awesome introduction to Barcelona. It's great value and an awesome Barcelona experience in itself. Really amazing place to stay.

Why go anywhere else? This place has it all and much more! I recently spent five nights at Fabrizzio's Petit Palace, and to say that this place thoroughly made our visit to Barcelona (from Manchester UK) would be an understatement. The genuine smiles and relentless warm welcome from the staff is terrific- especially if you are a 1st timer here.... More

What a magical place! Fabrizzios Petit Palace has such a lovely feel. On arrival you're welcomed by the staff, in our case Khrystian, who showed us around and really made us feel at home. The décor is just lovely, high ceilings, bright rooms and tastefully decorated. The kitchen is well equipped and the facilities top class. The rooms are clean,... More

I stayed for a long weekend with my girlfriend in a private room, very clean and very friendly staff. Had a sit down with us, gave us a map with all the recommended sights. Our room was big, shared bathroom which was very clean and a good shower. There to help with any problems. Very good value for money -... More

Where do I begin? It was such a relief to walk in the doors to find lovely staff who are genuinely kind and helpful. Equally a relief to find an immaculately clean and comfortable room that feels very relaxing and homely. I stayed in a six bed dorm, it was great! It seems to be that nice and considerate people... During my recent winter break trip with a friend to Barcelona, we stayed at Fabrizzio's Petit. We stayed in our own room, with a shared bathroom. Everything was wonderful and smooth from the time I booked the room to the time we left. The staff were very helpful before our trip, responding to emails very quickly. We enjoyed the vibe... More

A nice and quiet hostel with very nice and in every issue helpful people. The rooms are very differerent. Some of them are really great and some are okay. First we had the "okay-room", then could change to the really big and sunny "great" one. And also very much we enjoyed breakfast at the balcony with the green peaceful view.... More

I was not treated well here. The first night water from the pipes in the wall damaged the electrical outlets in my room so I had no outlets as the one working outlet had the lamp plugged into it. They moved me to the another room but I had to endure the dust and noise for four more days as... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
