This hotel/hostel/apartment rental has 4 rooms with a shared kitchen and bathroom. We had a room at the back of the building, and it was very nice – there was no noise from the street (although some from the hallways with people coming and going at night). You have to pay in cash, and you need to call when you... More

I had a magical stay in Barcelona! This rustic guest house is in a marvellous location. We had a darling room facing the street with a balcony where we could watch the different Spanish parades go by. Incredibly well priced. I would jump at the chance to stay here again.

I will start by writing that this justice could not be better located, very close to Ramblas boulevard, a very lively neighborhood in the heart of Barcelona with a lot of restaurants and even a supermarket. Further on the location, it is also close to a few bus stops and more importantly, close to metro station "Passeig de Gracia", that... More

Location was great, only a block off Las Ramblas. Price was very reasonable for location, not reception of staff, cleaner each day around 10am. Rooms were OK not overly clean. Hot water is a big issue, only lasts 5 minutes tops in shower and in morning not evening. Kitchen and dining area good for cooking your own food. Oven not... More

Ideal for a city break if you're not going to spend much time in your room. Good price for central location, and nice big rooms, but it is a shared apartment with other travellers, there was no cleaner while we were there for one weekend and the bathroom got really manky after just two nights. The noise of the other... More

Staying in Barrio Gotico (Barri Gotic)

Neighborhood Profile
Barrio Gotico (Barri Gotic)
With its iconic, old-Europe streets and alleys, this picturesque neighborhood is the very heart of Barcelona. It blends historic artifacts from its days under Roman dominion up through the Spanish Civil War with a vibrant modern-day culture of artisan shops and authentic culinary experiences. Avid explorers will be thrilled to discover quaint terraces and plazas brought to life by the many small bars and local musicians lasting late into the night. Fashionistas will be drawn to Portal de L’Angel, which is lined with well-known brand names and smaller boutique stands.
