This was a post cruise stay. We had the two twin balcony room. Loved going out on the balcony first thing in the morning and last thing at nite. Elvira was wonderful. Very helpful with suggestions for dining and sightseeing but also nice to sit and visit with. Bathroom had a huge shower but no where to put your shampoo,... More

We stayed for 3 nights and found all the staff to be very friendly and helpful, all eager to suggest places to eat, visit etc. only downside is that the walls were quite thin and the reception could be quite noisy at times but everything else was great

The hostes was very nice and helpful. She gave a map with some attractions nearby. There are many coffee houses nearby where you can take your breakfast and restaurants for dinner. I'm surely going stop there on my next visit to Barcelona. Everything was perfect.

Stayed for a night in December 2014. Very clean, we'll decorated room, amenities provided. Perfect nights sleep, nice view. Breakfast was great selection, clean cafe. Location was a short walk from the beach and local tube station , so easy to get around. Also have a small convenience store close by. Would definitely go back

Hotel Center Gran Via in Barcelona was a great place to stay for my family's visit to Barcelona. We stayed three nights. The service staff members were excellent! Every single member we interacted with was exceptionally helpful -- not only with aspects of the hotel, but also with tourist attraction and travel recommendations for the city. The location has great... More

good place to be in Barcelona closed to the subway, to the shops, and also closed to museums and the Rambla. the rooms are not on the same nivel of the crew's qualities, but for few nights, it's a very nice place. thank you to the members of this hotel for their help

You are everywhere in Barcellona if you stay in this hote, so 10/15 minuts walking from great center. The room is quite big and the manager was very friendly and helpful. My daughter was sad leaving the hotel since the manager was very friendly with her. Suggested for family.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Perfect located, five minutes walk to Ramblas and Placa Catalunya. Small but nice and clean rooms in an old building. We have had a private patio with chairs and a table. Our room was quite. We would go there again!

We stayed at this hotel last weekend and it was brilliant, the location very central and is within walking distance to all the major attractions in Barcelona. When we arrived we didn't know what to expect as the outside of the hotel looks like an apartment block but as soon as you open the doors and enter reception you are... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
