They use the term "Boutique Hotel" to sugarcoat the fact that they are really hostel suites. The staff is very friendly and welcoming and the location is great at that's why we grade them with two stars. But as far as comfort and hotel services are concerned, you will find better options elsewhere and for a similar price. The hotel... More

It totally satisfies your expectations for an affordable city hotel. 1 min walk from subway and if you are exhausted from walking it takes only 5 € from gothic quarter. And we paid 27 € to airport. The rooms were clean. And if you are tired of walking around the city you can enjoy your drink in the balcony.

Spent eight wonderful days in this hotel situated near all transportation facilities as well as being within walking distance of many points of interest. Restaurants nearby with nearly every type of dining experience. Premises are quiet, and very well maintained. Reception staff are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Free wi fi and amenities such as coffee and tea. There is also... More

This is a boutique hotel which is fantastic! Go to reception taking lift to first floor. At reception you are greeted by Elvira or one of the other 2 equally wonderful helpful staff members. There are 15 rooms and ours was fantastic. The room was large and we had a lovely terrace which we loved. There is a communal kettle... More

What an amazing little place. Really near the centre, beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. A small terrace. Tea and coffee and coffee making facilities in the corridor along with a large fridge for everyone to keep their stuff in. Elvira and the other receptionists couldn't have been more helpful, loads of maps and offers to book things to get discounts... More

This was a post cruise stay. We had the two twin balcony room. Loved going out on the balcony first thing in the morning and last thing at nite. Elvira was wonderful. Very helpful with suggestions for dining and sightseeing but also nice to sit and visit with. Bathroom had a huge shower but no where to put your shampoo,... More

We stayed for 3 nights and found all the staff to be very friendly and helpful, all eager to suggest places to eat, visit etc. only downside is that the walls were quite thin and the reception could be quite noisy at times but everything else was great

The hostes was very nice and helpful. She gave a map with some attractions nearby. There are many coffee houses nearby where you can take your breakfast and restaurants for dinner. I'm surely going stop there on my next visit to Barcelona. Everything was perfect.

Stayed for a night in December 2014. Very clean, we'll decorated room, amenities provided. Perfect nights sleep, nice view. Breakfast was great selection, clean cafe. Location was a short walk from the beach and local tube station , so easy to get around. Also have a small convenience store close by. Would definitely go back

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
