We went for a prolonged weekend to Barcelona and stayed at Musik Boutique and we loved it. The breakfast area is decent but very good quality. The rooms are very comfy, quiet and the bed... superb. Unfortunately I fell sick on the 3rd day (flew) but even then the staff was very nice, helped us getting a private doctor, everything... More

We would definetly return only to this cute hotel! In the coolest location and the most comfortable bed ever! It is super clean, beautifully decorated and the staff was extremely gentle. The neighborhood is a thrill and you have trillions of choices to eat!

This hotel is wonderful from the moment you check-in until you depart. The reception staff are extremely professional, the rooms have a wonderful atmosphere in addition to being very clean and comfortable and the linens were great. Maybe the best part is that this is a very quiet hotel. Our room faced the street but with the double glazing, you... More

Was a bit apprehensive about booking this hotel as it was only 3 stars and seemed quite cheap in comparison to other hotels I looked up in Barcelona but I needn't have worried.. This hotel was perfect for our short stay in Barcelona. The hotel is down a narrow side street but we found it ok- email reception before you... More

We have been more than happy with our stay at Musik Boutique Hotel in Barcelona. From the moment we arrived the staff has been friendly, helpful, gracious, and happy. The room is very nice, clean and handy. The location has been an extra value, when booking I was not quite certain how we would find everything, but the hotel is... More

We stayed here for the past three nights. Staff were so friendly, generous and helpful, especially David. Hotel is ideally located, a modern gem in the old part of the city, and just minutes from Placa de Catalunya. The hotel and bedrooms are immaculately clean and really modern. The beds are really comfortable. I would highly recommend Musik Boutique Hotel... More

We checked into the Musik Boutique Hotel on New Year’s Eve 2014 (December 31st 2014) and were supposed to stay there for five nights. However, already coming up the street towards the hotel, we were met by a horrible smell resembling burned rubber and tar. It turned out that the building right next to the hotel had burned down two... More

This hotel is top notch. Everyone was kind and helpful and made us feel as if we were coming home each night of our one week stay, especially Daniel, David, Andres, Ennio, Esmeralda and Elvis, The location is perfect for self guided walking tours, 5-10" to the metro, great places to eat. The room we stayed in was on the... More

It's small, but ther service was great and the location was good, maybe a little sketchy as you're walking down little alleys to get there but you're just a few blocks walk from the Main Street. Breakfast was decent. The room was small but nicely furnished.

This hotel is brilliant, couldn't of faulted a thing. Staff are brilliant, hotel spotless, everything looks brand new. Very attractive & modern hotel (our wallpaper was Laura Ashley). Each room is perfection, no loose tiles etc to be seen. Free safe provided in the room and a music lead for your phone to play through the rooms speaker system. The... More

Staying in El Born / La Ribera

Neighborhood Profile
El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few places that live and breathe such exciting energy regardless of the time of day. This neighborhood seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants ranging from fancy Michelin-star establishments to trendy fusion restaurants. Here you'll find historical and cultural attractions such as the popular Picasso Museum and the Gothic cathedral La Santa Maria del Mar, where you just might be able to catch a traditional Catalan wedding.
