4 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW via mobile

We stayed here for four nights and were very happy with our stay, despite a few grumbles. First, we had to pay for an early check in. We grudgingly did this as we had been up early that morning but this is absolutely absurd. I have never been asked to pay for an early check in before and I've stayed... More

My cousin and I stayed at the Hotel Indigo on a trip to Barcelona. The location is great very close to Las Ramblas and to Plaza Catalunya. The staff were all very friendly and the bartenders very talkative. My cousin wanted to practice his Spanish and they were very patient with him (he learned that most people prefer to speak... More

My room overlooking the pool was very nice and served the purpose for a 4-night business stay in all aspects except one: I had problems when I needed to use Microsoft Lync to make business calls over Wi-Fi; Lync would disconnect every few minutes and would then automatically attempt to reconnect. It was impossible to have a conversation. I can't... More

I really don't have anything bad to say about this hotel. Our room facing the inner courtyard was quiet and ridiculously spacious for a European hotel room, and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was clean and the shower was very nice. We appreciated the comfortable robes and toiletries. The wi-fi worked fine with the passwords provided by the... More

Hotel Indigo is a trendy comfortable hotel that is centrally located to many attractions. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We especially loved Emma, who worked in the bar area. She went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. We were very pleased with our stay and enjoyed our first trip to Barcelona! Definitely recommend.

I recently stayed at this hotel centrally located near Plaza de Catalunya and Passeig de Gracia. The hotel rooms are new, spacious and very comfortable, the staff at the front desk are very helpful and friendly. It has a nice outdoor pool and terrace.

Barcelona and Madrid exude all the things I love about traveling and that is very honest and friendly people (without 'gushing' all over you), deep and rich culture and architecture and a city that has vibe. Forgetting 'Stars' for the moment, I would place this hotel, it's service, facilities and standards at as close to perfect as anyone would expect.... More

This was my first visit to Barcelona and my main concerns were finding a decent hotel in a central area in my budget. We were only in Barcelona for 5 nights and I wanted to ensure we were close enough to get to everything by foot. I was ecstatic when the taxi pulled up to the hotel. From then on... More

Wow! We stayed here for 2 nights as part of a longer trip to France and Barcelona. This was our first time staying at a Hotel Indigo, and we could not have been more impressed. Great hotel, it was my first stay there but not the last one. The Location, near to the Plaça Catalunya and the Passeig de Gracia, is pretty cool, but on the other side (the only negative point) is that you can you get a room to the main street....and that's pretty noisy. The staff is very friendly an helpful. The... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
