Stayed for 3 nights in August and was very impressed. The hostel is really clean and has a nice modern layout with big comfortable beds, lockers, shared kitchen and outdoor decking area. The surrounding Gracia area is really nice with tiny little streets, small restaurants and shops, it has a tucked away, local sort of feel that is hard to... More

We ended up staying 2 weeks at sant jordi gracia after extending our stay twice. We had a fantastic experience at the hostel. The place is run in a super laid back and yet very professional fashion. The facilities are great: nice rooms with large lockers, good number showers, cool patios, well stocked kitchen, computers, TV with nice movie selection... More

Living for 5 days in the hostel I felt almost like home. The staff was so friendly and helpful and willing to answer any touristic information I may had on my mind.Full equipped kitchen and the best place to be was the lounge with the big personal pillows. The location is perfect because it is not overcrowded with tourists so you can... This hostel is very clean, and the staff are very helpful. Although it is not in the main tourist area, I really liked the location as it is near two large plazas that are active at night, and other cool restaurants and shops. The area doesn't feel trashy or overrun with tourists, so the hostel feels very peaceful and relaxing.... More

The staff working at Sant Jordi is friendly and awesome. You're gonna be given maps of key areas to hit up and tips on where to best spend your time. There's a communal area so you can easily meet other visitors. Such a spot for your time in Barcelona. FYI: There's a kitchen and fridge at your disposal so you... More

This was the best hostel I've ever stayed at, hands down. From the moment I checked in to the moment I left Barcelona, I had an amazing time. The rooms are spacious enough that it doesn't feel cramped, even with 8 people sharing. Everything was clean, including all of the common areas/bathrooms. I loved that the hostel was smaller than... Had a great stay in Barcelona in an amazing hostel! I visited this hostel two years ago and liked it so much that I wanted to return. So this year I went back. The hostel is located in a nice area not far from the city centre. New for me was that they organize pubcrawls every day, this is a... More

Would highly recommend staying at Sant Jordi Hostel Gracia! This is in the top-tier of European hostels. This was about the 30th hostel that I have stayed at...and it was easily in the top 2 or 3. The community vibe is amazing. Staff are 10/10. Rooms are great. Washrooms/rooms are clean. Backyard and upstairs patio. Computer/chill area. Kitchen. Modern feel.... More

This hostel was the best I have ever been to. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The staff take the hostel out to a free pub crawl every night and they also make amazing dinner every night for 3 euro. They were very accommodating. On the pub crawl the group meets up with the other Sant Jordi's hostels. It... More

Staying in Gracia

Neighborhood Profile
Gracia
Gracia literally stands out from the pack. It used to be an independent town until late into the 19th century. Though it’s just a short commute away from the center, a visit here feels like you’re in a whole different city. The bohemian vibe has drawn many international artists to this area, resulting in a wide selection of galleries, live music and artsy boutique stores. The nightlife is centered around the vibrant Gracia’s plaças, where young and old gather to enjoy a drink outside. Carrer de Verdi, its main street, offers affordable restaurants and a movie theater that screens new as well as classic films in their original language. However Gracia's greatest treasure lies just up the hill at Guell Park, where Antoni Gaudi's vibrant and revolutionary art sculptures stand atop unequaled views of Barcelona.
