The Forget-Me-Not Hotel is in a very pleasant street, in a shopping neighbourhood with several restaurants, bakeries and cafés close by. It is close to a hop-on, hop-off bus stop, and within an easy walk of the central square. It occupies the first floor (second floor for North Americans) of a small apartment building. The entrance is just a single... More

I loved this place! Really nice people, clean and cosy. Breakfast is fresh and had healthy choices. The location is great with several options to eat and great transportaincion access. A place to return :)

A few days prior to arrival they send an email asking for the estimate time of arrival to make sure everything is prepared for you. They were kind enough to let us check-in and occupy to the room a few hours in advance which was great because it gave us more time to explore the city. The staff is impeccable,... More

We spent 5 nights here exploring Barcelona, what a great choice. Very clean and modern, in a quiet area and quiet rooms. The rooms were on the small side but they are only for sleeping and showering so no problem, they were kept spotlessly clean, and the breakfast was excellent, with Oscar the breakfast man preparing the food and remembering... Already in advance our stay we were personally contacted by mail with informations about the best train station and were asked for the time of our arrival. During the five days stay everyone of the staff was friendly and attentive. The clean and comfortable appartment was arranged every day while we were out. The rich breakfast surmounted our expectations and... More

We just had a 5-day vacation in Barcelona. It was a good choice to stay there. The location of the hotel is only in walking distance from downtown and the staff there were very friendly and helpful. The room was not so big but clean and cosy. We would like to stay there again when next time we visit Barcelona.

The location of Forget Me Not B&B can not be better, near everything in walking distance or the nearby metro. The owners, Oscar and Cristina are real people that excel at making the guests at home. The whole place was re-build just tree years ago and the price is just right in this ultra safe city.

Unless you know where to find this B&B it would be easy to miss. Hidden behind a door between shops with a small indiscreet sign, initial impressions are not good. However, once inside and up the stairs you find a modern and exceptionally clean B&B. My husband paid extra for an upgrade to a superior room with tea & coffee... More

A nice little B&B away from the noisier parts of Barcelona but close enough to shops and taxis. Rooms a bit on the small side but we liked our street view and the staff were helpful and pleasant. Breakfast selection was great - so much fresh fruit, breads, cheese and pastries. It would help to have some shelving in the... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
