Really I dont know how this hotel is rated as 4 star hotel in booking.com, the room air conditioning was too warm that we can not sleep as well, the bed sheet was very thin it was like a paper :) also I advice do not take your car to their private car parking because it has too narrow path... Dear Customer, Pleased that you leave your commentary so that we can take into account the negative aspects of our hotel and remedy them. In reference to parking, we know that it certainly is a little tight but is best to park your car if you come to Barcelona, because the price is very competitive with public parking in the... More

I stayed at this hotel about two years ago and had a great stay, so I decide to return again, but unfortunately it was a big disappointment. The first night we found out the water pressure in the room's shower is extremely low. We assumed it's because the faucet was missing the button you need to hold and turn in... More

Dear Customer, First of all we are very honored that you have chosen our hotel Acevi Villarroel again for your stay in Barcelona. On the contrary, we regret that it has not been entirely satisfactory for the inconvenience you had. As you said, the water pressure was a bit low in your room but the shower problem was resolved the... More

Awful hotel. Don't pay to stay here. Choose another hotel. Having a front facing job myself, I would say I'm lenient with other front facing staff as I know it's not always easy to deal with a request, however, the staff here just do not care when they should care the most. - Extremely poor customer service the minute you... Dear Customer, First of all we thank you for your comment explaining your version of what happened. First we want to clarify the issues that were found in the room. Referring to the smell of smoke in the room, your room was for smoking customers. That's why, probably being a smoking room, has a slight smell of smoke. In this... More

Great central hotel for our short break in Barcelona. Only a short walk to two of Gaudi's famous houses and within easy walking to La Rambla and the Gothic quarter. Also easy access to metro. The hotel is comfortable with very helpful and pleasant staff. Nice touches, sweet rose for the ladies on St Jorge's Day. Some nice restaurants in... More

I enjoyed a four day break in Barcelona with my wife and two friends. An ideally situated hotel fifteen minutes from "La Pedrera" , Casa Batllo and La Rambla. An eight minute walk to a metro station and three stops away from La Sagrada Familiar. The hotel has 72 rooms, is clean and tidy with very friendly and very helpful... More

Booked this place through BA on a city break deal and came away impressed. Room was clean, modern and everything worked as it should. Reception staff were very friendly, giving me plenty of tips as to how to get around the city (always with a smile) Breakfast service a little basic but was good food - wouldn't ever call it... Me and my boyfriend booked this hotel for a weeks stay in Barcelona in September 2014. It was less expensive than hotels around Las Ramblas and looked to be of a higher quality than those of the same price. Hotel is a little dated and sauna/gym are basic, but that was made up for mainly by the staff who were very helpful and professional. Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
