This is a great hotel, mainly because of the service minded staff and the well kept and nice interior. The dining facilities are really cozy, either you´re having breakfast or a midnight cap. Different cafes and restaurants nearby, including a Burger King, if you get bored of the local cuisine. Metro stop just across the street, which is an easy... More

Not too bad for the price paid. Given not in the hotel too often it didn't make a big difference. Overall condition was fairly new. Best thing is the location as it is close to the market, as well as the pier.

We booked hotel on a 'secret deal' package. 3 or 4 stops on metro from las ramblas which is also good. Really high quality hotel, very clean and good staff. Lots of little restaurants close by and metro straight across the street. It has a roof top swimming pool which gets the sun in the afternoon which is really pleasant.... More

Stayed for two nights in this hotel and it was very enjoyable. We loved having the small pool to cool down in when weather got too hot. Metro station directly across the street so it was great for getting to las ramblas. Lots of cafes and restaurants in easy walking distance. Resorthoppa from airport to the hotel was only £28... The hotel was very clean, the front desk staff were very helpful and spoke excellent English. They were most helpful helping us arrange a tour and also provided us with a converter for our c Papp machines. The lounge area in the bar was relaxing and although we did not eat in the restaurant we heard good comments from other... More

We stayed at Silken Concordia four nights in May 2015. This is a not 4 star hotel. The service was poor from the moment we've checked in. Do not expect the staff go extra mile to make your stay more pleasant. When we were checking in, the girl at the reception didn't even bother to welcome us. We were not... More

I really liked this hotel - very funky & I loved the decor! The staff were amazing! I was there 2 hours early for check in but I waited maybe 10 minutes (while doing free wifi) and I got my room! They were all very friendly. I missed a bathtub in my room (shower only) and I felt the hotel... More

Me and my mum stayed at this hotel for 2 nights for a city break. We were welcomed super nice staff who were very helpful throughout our trip by recommending places to eat, visit, ordering taxis etc. We didn't have breakfast so cant comment on that. However we did eat at their restaurant on the last day and that was... More

Really enjoyed this small hotel- super nice staff, lovely lobby and very decent restaurant. We ate lunch there first day as we were exhausted and room would not be ready until 3, and so glad we did. Daily menu offer of first drink, 3 courses & coffee for €14! We thought the days of great value in Europe were gone,... More

Staying in Montjuic

Neighborhood Profile
Montjuic
Beyond the four columns standing guard at the Plaça Espanya, beyond even the extravagant and colorful fountains guiding your way up the boulevard, stands the impressive and towering structure of the Palau Nacional, the national museum. At this very spot in front of the cascades of the central fountain, Freddie Mercury and Montserrat Caballe gave the performance of their lifetimes to welcome the 1992 Olympic Games to this magnificent city. And true to its anticipation, the games transformed the city, reimagining the mountain of Montjuic with the development of an arena, stadium, and many other sporting facilities that are open to visitors year-round. Surrounding the adjacent side of the plaza are well-established hotels catering to business guests and a shopping mall transformed out of a historic bullfighting arena.
