Stayed here over the easter bank holiday and loved the hotel, the staff were all very polite and helpful. The hotel was immaculate and the room was spot on, very spacious with modern decor. The bathroom was great and there was an abundance of extras from shampoo and shower gel to shoe buffers! Our room was on the second floor... More

Best location, so central but away from horrible La rambla. Great room pretty big and spacious bathrooms, great breakfest and a very lively pool area. I have stayed here several times and will come back. Airport bus is stopping 1min away from the hotel.

When we first arrived in Barcelona, we took a bus from the airport to the Universitat stop which was just two short blocks from this hotel. Unfortunately, I left one suitcase on the bus. We went to the hotel, checked in and then asked the clerk if she could call the bus company about my bag. This was a guest... More

this is not your hotel, but if you seek a modern, tastefully designed, comfortable room this is your place. The location is great, just two blocks to Placa de Catalunya, the heart of the city. As a bonus buses to the airport leave every 5 minutes from the Placa. The room was large by European standards, with sound absorbing wall... More

The hotel reception staff were helpful and friendly. The overall cleanliness of rooms and public areas was excellent. It was great to be able to take a swim and relax by the roof-top pool after a busy day sight-seeing. I would go there again and would recommend it to friends. The location was good and convenient for shops sight-seeing and... More

This hotel is in an extremely great location close to the Metro and lots of things to do. The lobby was open and modern, front desk folks were friendly, helpful and spoke English well! The little lounge and big breakfast room were very nice, breakfast being ample by European standards. The rooftop pool and bar were great, though the pool... More

The Hotel Jazz exceeded our expectations for room size and comfort. The front desk staff were very helpful and everything was very clean and modern. We had no problems with the WiFi. We loved the rooftop pool and lounging area. The location is perfect for walking to Placa Cataluna and Las Ramblas.

Stayed here for a trip to F1 with a big group of friends. It's very reasonable, really clean, great location, short walk to Las Ramblas etc. next to metro. Has a really nice rooftop bar which is quiet...tiny pool to cool off in heat. I will definitely return

We came to Barcelona with no room booked beforehand only to learn how silly idea was that during the summer holiday. Luckily we found this hotel, literary just round the corner from Rambla, but far enough to have quite night. As we haven't prebook the only availability was for suite. We never looked back. Outstanding bed, immaculately clean, neutral decor,... More

Quiet clean and modern hotel close to everything - pool looked great but was closed for maintenance! A few minutes walk to the Rambla, the old town and many other sites. An excellent base for a Barcelona visit! A great city to explore and enjoy!

Staying in El Raval

Neighborhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
