The staff were welcoming, we only had 1 night after a cruise but wish we could have stayed longer. Reception staff allowed us to book out 3 hours late due to our late night flight home, which was much appreciated. The hotel was in a great position, rooftop pool and bar, clean and modern, excellent facilities. Will definitely stay again... More

We stayed at the hotel Jazz for a 3 night rest from the busy life of parenthood! This hotel is a fantastic choice for exploring the main sights of the city. All transport routes are easily accessible including the airport bus, hop on hop off tourist route and the metro. The room s are modern, comfortable, spacious for a city... More

In a nutshell, Hotel Jazz is so convenient for: 1) Arriving & departing by Aerobus (use Universitat for arrival and Plaça Catalunya for departure); 2) Sightseeing (Ho Ho bus stop is across the street on Ronda de la Universitat); 3) Shopping (FC Barcelona Botiga is 1 block away on Ronda de la Universitat, El Corte Ingles is 1 block further,... We have stayed at this hotel 4 times and it is consistently wonderful. The location is close to the metro stops and walking distance to Las Rambles, cafés and shopping. The rooms are clean and very modern and the staff is very helpful. I have, recommended The Jazz to family and friends.

If I were to turn to Barcelona I would definitely recommend this hotel. The location was excellent and the roof top terrace perfect for relaxing after a day's sightseeing. Very good value indeed for money.

Just returned from seven days in Barcelona. Our home base, the Hotel Jazz, exceeded our expectations in terms of location, comfort, value and amenities. And, the staff -- from check in to service at the bar to check out -- were superb. The hotel is in an ideal location to Barcelona's night life, but close to quiet areas, too.

We stayed 3 nights in this hotel and it was perfect. The location is great, staff were very helpful, the room was very comfortable and clean and the bathroom was very big and good. The pillows were the best, really long! There is a fridge in the room, but no tea and coffee making. We didn't really miss that though.... More

Just spent 4 nights at the Hotel Jazz, and we were happy the entire time. The rooms are clean, modern and comfortable. We really enjoyed the pool and bar on the roof! The location is great: Minutes from Las Ramblas, Steps away from the Metro and just blocks away from countless bars and restaurants. Great central location to explore Barcelona!

Hotel and staff were outstanding, couldn't do enough for us. The roof terrace was a nice getaway after a busy day sightseeing pool and beds well maintained with towels provided. If you like a tea and coffee then taking a travel kettle etc is a good idea as there is a fridge to keep milk in and a supermarket just... More

Staying in El Raval

Neighborhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
