This hotel has a great loction, kids friendly and close to all the sights and shopping. Stones throw from Plz Catalunya and ramblas for all the great shopping. The only dissappointment was its breakfast. It was mediocre at the best. But the hotel itself was awesome.

A very nice hotel with a good, central location close to shops and restaurants, just a 5 minutes walk to Plaça Catalunya ! The rooms were big, clean and the breakfast had all you can ask for. The only problem was the hard beds.

Stayed for 5 nights in Hotel Jazz following reviews on trip-advisor. We were not disappointed, the hotel is a perfect base for exploring Barcelona, is minutes from Universtat metro and drop off from aerobus. Las Ramblas and plaza Catalunya are minutes away. The rooms were exceptionally clean and comfortable with a mini bar and in room safe. For added security... More

This hotel is very centrally located, just blocks from La Rambla. The rooms are very clean and the beds were comfortable, although firm. Noise was not a problem. There are many good restaurants near by as well as shopping at El Corte Ingles Department Store and shopping venues on La Rambla. Most of the main tourist attractions like the Sagrada... More

Large rooms and good firm beds, no horrible foam mattresses. Very clean and tidy. Lots of storage and sensible safe in room. Breakfast is great and the staff so good and fast they take your breath away! The young man in particular was a real professional. This is also the perfect position for most places in Barcelona. We were on... More

We just returned from a mother-daughter Barcelona vacation. We stayed in a corner suite at Hotel Jazz for 5 nights. It was the perfect place for us -- location is close to everything (metro, Aerobus, Ramblas, taxis are easy in the entire city); the front desk staff went out of their way to guide us and help us with (thanks... I've stayed in a wide variety of hotels; from hostels to 5*: and was convinced hotel jazz was at least 4*. It is clean, fresh and modern with a high quality finish and all mod cons; especially the rooftop pool! Staff spoke good English and were extremely helpful; especially the concierge who called round local restaurants to find a local... More

everything was fine, but on the main day of our stay, coming back after 5 pm , the room was not done yet. in my view unacceptable, and a pity otherwise i would have given 5 marks to the hotel, where everything else was impeccable , including WIFI

Had a lovely 4 night stay here recently and would definitely recommend the hotel. It is in a great location, not far from Las Ramblas and a nice, safe feel. The room was a decent enough size and was smart and modern in appearance and immaculately clean. We didn't eat in the hotel so can't comment on the restaurant but... More

Staying in El Raval

Neighborhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
