Basically in placa cataluna but in a small calle so away from traffic noise. The interiors have a classic-modern design. Wood, black stones, leather armchairs. Had a spacious double room with bath. Slippers and bathrobe. No coffee machine or kettle. Free wifi that works everywhere in the hotel. No gym but for 14€ is possible to have access to a... More

Just got back from Barcelona, stayed at the Pulitzer and was very pleased. Pretty and clean boutique hotel in Bergara St. less than a 2 minute walk to Plaza Catunya, Metro Stations, la Rambla and all major attractions. Room was clean, bed was comfy and the in-room tea service is a nice touch. Hot water in shower all the time,... More

Just returned from 3 nights at the Pulitzer and what a wonderful stay it was. The hotel is perfectly located, at the top of la Rambla, you could not want a more perfect location from which to explore Barcelona. The hub for the city tour bus is 2 mins from the hotel, there is a taxi rank opposite and you... More

We stayed at Hotel P as we affectionately came to call it between Christmas and New Year 2015. What we love about this place is it is so centrally located. You can walk to the old part of town, wander to the Port or take a stroll to trendy neighbourhoods. It is also around the corner from great travel operators... More

I came to this hotel with my family and it was great. The rooms and staff were amazing. The staff always tried their best to help you with everything. The location was ideal, taxis just outside the front door and the main strip is a 5 minute walk. Great hotel and would 100% go back.

My wife and I stayed 5 nights at this hotel and we had realy great time and I detail the reasons: the cleanliness of the room and public area, the service of the staff at the reception and at the dining room, the design of the pablic area, the breakfast buffet and the graet location of the hotel. The system... More

After reading reviews on about 6 hotels around this area I decided on The Pulitzer as it sounded probably pretty good. A two night weekend stay in January so not too worried if hotel turned out to be average . But what a good choice - The Pulitzer was an absolute delight ! The receptionist on arrival was just so... Last time here I was underwhelmed. Not sure what changed...well, my room was upgraded. But the hotel staff were helpful and attentive. The beds was a topper that made sleeping something to forward to at the end of the day. A fresh stroppwaffle each day added to the calories and the pleasure of a five day stay. Great location, reliable... More

I booked this hotel for two nights in Jan 2015 for my boyfriend's Xmas present. I was really pleased with the hotel - I expected the room to be fairly small due to reading other reviews on here but it wasn't ridiculously small. To be honest, in a city hotel when you only really sleep in the hotel, you don't... More

I apologize for not having the terrace open with service everyday during winter. We only open with bar service at weekends from 12:00 to 16:00. On the other hand, it is open... More

Staying in El Raval

Neighborhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
