First of all this pension is at 5th floor and there`s no elevator.Rooms are very small and the bathrooms are a dump.Even if it is said the breakfast is included do not expect more than a coffe or tea.The lady who welcomes guests does not know more than catalan so there is a problem trying to communicate something. The location is... more

I stayed here at the beginning of this month, and I have to say all we made out on was location! Its a great location in the middle of everything, but there were cockroaches in the room *yuck*! we only saw them once when returning from being out and no the door was not left open to the outside. you... more

This hostel is one of the worst hostels I have stayed at...it's not only 5 flights of stairs up to the damn place, but once you get there, you're greated by a very unwelcoming lady who hands you a set of keys and doesn't even bother you to show you where your room is. The room itself (422) was so... more

The big heavy door at the entrance to this place is almost impossible to get open and maybe that's a hint that you shouldn't enter! It's about 5 flights of stairs to the pension via a smelly, graffiti covered stairwell. The lady on the desk spoke very little English and looked like she had never made the trek up or... more

Well what can you expect for the price you pay - this place is no Hilton BUT once you get past the grafitti in the foyer, the half naked men hanging out of the windows doing handyman work with live electrical wires hanging from the ceiling perilously close to puddles and up the hundred odd stairs the place is quite... more

I can't believe anyone would say this place is excellent or even average. It must be a setup so you will have the same shock they had when they walked in. The entrance is covered in graffitti and wasn't lit at all. Not to mention it smelled of urine. After walking up 4-5 flights of urine scented stairs with walls... more

This is a tiny little door off las Ramblas. We were required to pay, in cash, for the whole stay before we got to our room. That should have clued us in- the room was tiny, and faced a extremely loud discotheque across the street. we will not be staying there again. more

Arrived in Barcelona in sweltering 37 degrees, to find we had to climb 4 flights of stairs with our backpacks (92 steps to be precise, yes, we counted!!) to reach reception. Staff extremely friendly, although english not so good! Allocated a double room , towards the back of the building that was tiny and boiling! Our window backed onto a... more
