I was referred to this lovely hotel by Trip Advisor and don't regret it! We stayed twice, before and after a cruise leaving from Barcelona. The first night we had one of the bigger rooms with better view on the 18th floor. It was fabulous and I thought reasonably priced for the great features of the room and great view.... More

We stayed here for a week several years ago and wanted to be in a decent place. Having been to Barcelona before, we liked the fact that it was very close to the train station as we planned to take day trips outside of city to see more of the area. As well, the airport train stops at this station.... More

The best thing about this hotel was the location near Sants station and Plaza de Espana (although this did mean the nights were a little loud). The rooms were standard compared to American hotels, although larger and more modern than most of the other hotels we visited in Spain. However, the staff service was poor. When we checked in, we... My wife and I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights at the end of April 2012 for our honeymoon trip. I tend to disagree with some of the TripAdvisor comments. I thought the hotel itself was very "standard".. it has all the things you need...but nothing "special"... Some people use "modern" design to describe this hotel but I thought... More

Spent 3 nights staying at this hotel which we found to be a great base for visiting Barcelona. It is a little way from the sights but we found that to be a good thing as you explored a bit further, especially as it is right next to Sants Estacio and the Metro. The hotel is quite modern and equipped... More

The Hotel is just as good as I remembered. Big modern rooms, great bathrooms and welcoming service. Even though it had been 3 years I was welcomed back. This time I brought friends who were equally impressed. The buffet breakfast is served on the top floor and the views are wonderful. There is a 16 euro charge that can be... More

We (3 adults, 2 small kids) stayed at Gran Torre Hotel Catalunya for 3 nights last April 2012. Reception personel were really nice. I think his name was Lucas. He even gave our kids some activity sets upon check-in. Our 2 rooms were suprisingly spacious. Even the bathroom were big. We liked the location since we arrived via train. We... More

The main reason we chose this hotel was its close proximity to Sants Estacio, a busy transport hub for Barcelona. It is also well positioned for the Bus Turistic, which many tourists would want to take advantage of, especially if only on a short stay in the city. Previous reviews on TripAdvisor indicated that it provided good quality accommodation and... More

We stayed here a couple of years ago after reading the Tripadvisor reports and we found it a fair hotel, not brilliant not the worst we've ever stayed in. Rooms were a fair size, nice bathroom and beds were comfortable. We ate in the bar downstairs and the food wasn't too bad. Only downside to the hotel was the location... More
