The hotel is located right by Plaça Cataluña (the Rambla is right outside the hotel). Whether it is a good location or not can be discussed but if you are there for an extended weekend (like we were) the location is convenient. This hotel is on the Placa Catalunya which means it is right in the center of Barcelona and if you are a tourist that is simply as good as it gets. The entry is past a jewelry store. The room was the smallest I've been in. The lock on the door was more suited for a cabinet. The space beneath the door was large enough to hear everything in the echoing hallways, including slamming doors. I had to give my key to reception every time I left!!! The one good thing... more

Great place to stay, only complaint I would have is the noise from the street, the single paned glass just doesnt keep out the noise of traffic. Having that said everything else was great, at the top of las ramblas it has everything in easy reach, hotel staff were very nice and cleaners came every day!
