Central location at the top of Las Ramlas. Great dining in the area. Subway entrance right in front of the Hotel. My room was very small. Just big enough to fit a bed and not much more. But rooms are clean and staff is very friendly and helpful. Hotel is very affordable compared to others, and the breakfast is a... More

My friend and I stayed for 5 days. It was located in a heart of Barcelona and it was very easy to travel to major touristic places (especially we had a 2 days pass for hop and on bus so it stopped at very near to our hotel). The food in Barcelona is cheap and reasonable prices so we decided... More

A nice hotel at the top of Las Ramlas. The room was large, clean and quite. The location was great for site seeing as all the main sites were within a short walk. The airport bus stop was at the opposite end of the square which the hotel was located on. There was a metro station off one of the... More

I've staied in this hotel in August 2014, the location is the best about this hotel, you can take any kind of transport bus, metro easily and reach on foot the most interesting places fastly as well. Breakfast was not bad too, hotel staff was kind and helpfull, just the rooms are smaller than I was expecting and for a... More

This hotel is excellent value for money and located right on the Plaça de Catalunya, the central plaza that is the beating heart of Barcelona. I had some difficulty finding the hotel at first, because they were busy refurbishing the façade of the building and I had to enter through a jewellery store, but there was clear signage. The staff... More

Not sure why other reviewers had difficulty finding this place. We spotted it right away even though the front of the building is being refurbished. It is on the corner of the top of Las Ramblas and literally between the McDonald's and Burger King. When you go in the doorway there is a jewelry store first, then the reception. We... More

Pros: Great location Super Friendly staff Ok shower (hot and cold water) Clean rooms Cons: Horrible bad (actually writing this review at 3am because I can't fall back to sleep). Little noise ( I can hear my "neighbors" going to the bathroom in the middle of the night). Tiny rooms. I would recommend if you are in a tight tight... More

1) Location: We arrived by the terminal shuttle service to Cataluña square and the hotel is a 2 minute walk from there but you would never know it. No one we asked knew where it was then we discovered why - the hotel is located inside/at the end of a Jewellery shop!! You basically enter the shop then at the... More

Staying in El Raval

Neighborhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
