I loved the hotel! The rooms, the service, the location, everything was really nice! The breakfast is not the best but it's ok. In my next time in bcn for sure I'm going to stay in Hotel Comercio again;)

Went here with my girlfriend for three nights. Hotel Comercio and Hotel Barcelona House have merged since october, now called Comercio Barcelona House. We had some very big positive reactions against one big negative. The hotel is clean and the rooms are new, householding does its work every day. Staff is kind and speaks well English. Reception open 24/7. The... More

Clean and close. Nice rooms; small but efficient. Great price and location. Restaurants all around and just a few blocks from Las Ramblas. We chose the included breakfast which wasn't fancy but served the purpose. Self serve coffee & croissants, etc. Not a restaurant. Be prepared to hear street noise through the night since Barcelona opens late and there are... More

We spend two nights in two double-rooms on the 4th floor in october 2014. The hotel is located in a tiny road very close to the Ramblas. The rooms a quite small but the interior its modern and clean. The staff is friendly and uncomplicated. Compared to other hotels in this area, it is inexpensive and a good choice.

This hotel is not recieving many reviews i know. It had me worried too. It is now owned and connected by next door HOTEL BARCELONA HOUSE. Check out the reviews on there as that is where people are heading to become critics. Heres my review and you will also find it on HOTEL BARCLEONA HOUSE. I believe this hotel is... More

We recently spent 2 nights in this hotel and found the location fantastic, just off the busy Las Ramblas, the room was small but very clean, air con worked and breakfast was very simple but adequate. However it was the desk staff who went out of their way to make our stay so enjoyable. Nothing was too much trouble, iron,... More

This hotel is good value for money with the most helpful and friendly staff and an excellent location. Yes, it is noisy, as pointed out by other reviewers however effective double glazing on our balcony door did its best to keep this to a minimum. Nearby Placa Reial is great for a sangria late in the day. The breakfast of... More

Very central, close to beautiful Placa Reial and Rambla. Helpful staff and a nice and clean room with aircon. Breakfast is typical southern Europe so don't expect too much. The bed was nice and there was extra blankets - not only a sheet, which is too cold if you sleep with aircon on. Close to metro stations Drassanes and Liceu,... More

I would definitely recommend this hotel to other city trip travelers. This hotel has an excelent position in the centre of Barcelona and only one street away from the busy shopping street Ramblas. The service was excellent and the crew very friendly and helpfull. The room we had was located next to a busy street but with the doors closed... More

I would recommend hotel but I would not recommend rooms along the street (Carrer dels Escudellers) - the noise is huge inside the room (we were on 4th floor! 423) that we couldn't almost sleep first night. There was no problem to relocate to another room when we asked service. Service very kind and helpful. We get another room (427)... More

Staying in La Rambla

Neighborhood Profile
La Rambla
Barcelona's most famous street was once a dry riverbed. Now, La Rambla is a 1200-meter boulevard, and a major draw for visitors. During the day, La Rambla fills with pedestrians, some of which stroll past impressive human statues and artists while others take a break to people-watch while enjoying a drink at one of the many terraces. Housed here is the iconic Boqueria Market that offers one of the most varied and appetizing selections of local produce and specialty meats and treats. While it’s important for tourists to keep an eye on their belongings at all times, this area is most safely explored in the daytime and is a must see for everyone who visits.
