Very friendly welcome by reception staff. The room is simple but clean, the bathroom rather new and very clean. You get what you need, but not a bit more (eg. soap yes, but no shelves in bathroom for cosmetics).

Rooms look a bit like ibis rooms, but less colorful. Space for two beds, a chair, a desk, for two suitcases and that is it.

Cold buffet breakfast consists of coffe/tea/juice; white bread, sweet bread, coissants, catalan dessert, butter, jam, yoghurt (but no cheese or ham). Quantity is absolute OK.

The special offer for house guests in the other hotel Roma real for a 3 course dinner at € 18 incl. drinks is very recommendable. We had Gazpacho, sirloin stake, cocos icecream, wine & water. Staff very helpful with excursions, taxi etc.

Location is key, 3 metro stations from Fira Montjuic, 100 m to Ramblas station Drassanes (boat tours), 2 stations to Pl. Catalunya (Corte Ingles) and about 10 very good restaurants 100 m around the hotel... more
