Its not a palace and maybe not the standard i usually stay, but, for the price.. Room...clean, comfortable bed, good bathroom, lighting good, and quiet. Security might concern some in this infamous Ravel area, the front desk are very attentive to who enters, access is well controlled, and the owner has invested in top notch room doors/locks. Slightly dissapointed to not have anything in d the room to drink from, not even a single glass, asked at front and given a cheapo paper cup.. Interesting collection of offroad moto bikes in lobby, owner collects. Wud be good if they had a coffee corner in the lobby...

Excellent place to stay considering perfect location and for that price. Staff is very nice, helpful and they speak good english. Rooms are clean, renewed with air conditioning and private bathroom (including towels, cleaning). I wouldn't expect more from such hotel. I recommend

The staff is very nice, the location of the hotel is good, and it's one of the cheaper places to stay. However, the negative points made it hard for us to enjoy our stay at times. The rooms are quite small (smaller than expected), and the shower is a bit tricky to handle. Even with the shower curtain closed the water goes everywhere, which is annoying. Worst was the fact that the rooms aren't very noise-proof. Other guests walking in the hallways, or using their toilets/showers causes a lot of noise. In our case there were VERY noisy guests, and here the hotel did not intervene. All in all we would recommend to avoid this place.

The location is absolutely perfect - near to La Rambla, but you cannot hear the crowd. Staff is really kind! Cleaning every day! Supermarkets and La Boqueria are on 5 min walk distance! Last day you can leave your luggage in the hotel until is time for leaving that beautiful city! Many thanks to the staff team for the great vacation!

Hotel location is very spooky, but stuff told us its very safe. Its 10 minutes walk from famous La Rambla street.Stuff is super nice and friendly, this is probably what kept me there.Room is very small, with old blankets, one of them had holes.Poor decorations in the room, shower doesn't have a doors all water goes on the floor, plus we always smell sewerage .Hotel lobby looks like storage room.

My wife & i stayed here for 1week, and what we really like the most is the location, room, bed and especially the receptionist (Liezel) she was very helpful without her help my wife has no clothes and medicine, she helped us to find our luggage. The staffs are nice but Liezel is the best, she helps everyone not only the guests but also the maids. Location, is fantastic 3mins walk to ramblas all walking distance. We will come back on summer!

Positives: Staff were friendly and helpful Breakfast was basic but I enjoyed it. Set us up until lunch. Breakfast lady was very friendly. Comfy bed Towels changed daily Located not far from city centre Negatives: Extremely dodgy lift Absolutely no facilities Rusty bath TV didn't work No privacy - bath and bed in same room Broken sink Toilet extremely small so unable to close door Awful smell Very dangerous window Broken doors Overall not a great experience. Wouldn't recommend hotel to anyone.

Yes, you get what you pay for, and probably a little bit more. The rooms are small - in ours the bathroom was not separated from the bedroom other than by a two inch lip in the floor tiles. The telly had endless Spanish=speaking channels and no English speaking ones, but it was tremendously well located between La Rambla and the tapas eating district that we'd booked a tour on, so it was great for us, especially given that most hotels were full on the particular weekend we went. Our room was air-conidtioned, and after a day we found the thermostat to adjust the temp. Breakfast was included and doesn't have teh fresh fruit of the 4-star hotels but had one flavour of cereal, and one of toast, pastries, yoghurt and coffee machines. Sure the street outside smells, but you get that a lot in Barcelona from the drains, and it was annoying that house-keeping didn't have a separate key and had to use yours! but it was only one-star!! The front desk was manned 24x7, can't really ask for more.…
