Excellent base for exploring the city on foot maid service everyday a lovely surprise considering the price ! Good continental breakfast in the hotel bar. Receptionists extremely polite and helpful directing you to places of interest and the best ways to travel. I would definately return to the hotel and recommend to others

stayed here for the football just for a night, cheap accomodation but can't complain, tidy with a nice bathroom. Didn't get up for breakfast so can't comment. Daytime woman on reception is lovely and chatty. 4-5 minute walk from ramblas. Get it booked if you just want a simple clean room.

The hotel is in great location near La Rambla street. The staff is very friendly and helpful. If you are looking cheap accommodation in a good location, this is the place for you. Nothing fancy, but you get what you pay for.

The location is perfect for visiting Barcelona - it could not be more central, i.e. just off The Rambla. We had 3 rooms. The one on the 1st floor had be 'made over' more recently than the other 2. Ok, they are basic, but what are you in Barcelona for? We paid 30 euros a night for 2 people!! They... More

Locatio, location, location! It's right in the center, very close to La Rambla! But the room was very old,no balcony and the beds wasn't really comfortable! No wifi in the room even though they said there is! The staff were very friendly and helpful!you can find a better hotel for less money!

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Though it is announced as a one-star hotel, in fact the level of service and conditions is much higher. We had a double room with enough space for two, private bath with modern equipment, bath cosmetics and towels. Interior of the room is Ok too: fresh bed linen, blankets, wardrobe and chairs. Room... Very basic hotel but super location, very clean, comfortable and really nice staff. Breakfast was included and again was basic but good, toast, croissants coffee and juice. Fairly quiet apart from man in next room who insisted on slamming the door to his room.

We stayed here for a one night stay before cruising and one night was more than enough. We did have a lovely staff member who was extremely helpful and accommodating , but as far as the sleeping facilities.......... Basic! The floors are not carpeted therefore the beds move all over the place. Basically the room had 2 single beds and... More

Dont even stay in this hotel if the rooms are offered for free. Cause they charge you for everything even after you have paid for the room. Dont use the rooms of the hotel. The hotel staff enters the room without knocking. The flush of the toilet was not working. The air-conditioning is not effective. In the name of breakfast... More

Staying in El Raval

Neighborhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
