Hotel is clean and modern, rooms are comfortable, good variety for breakfast . The location is great, easy walking distance of La Ramblas, Picasso Museum, Placa de Catalunya. The hotel is next to the Paral lel Metro station which gives cheap and convenient access to the rest of the City. We found friendly local bars and restaurants all around the... More

We have just come back from our third stay at AutoHogar Barcelona and I think we can say it's been our best so far. No problems with previous stays but out hotel room/suite was superb, away from the traffic (Hotel 2 where entrance is through the underground car park). We had breakfast each day and can't complain, it set us... More

Very clean and modern room. We stayed for 4 night's and didn't have any big complaints. The neighbors are a bit loud but we dont really mind a bit of noise, slept well. Location is perfect, nearly everything is in a walking distance.

Auto Hogar is a reasonably priced hotel in a great location in Barcelona. located 10 minutes from La Rambla, and 15 mins from the beach. The price of the hotel was average, however the rooms were quite small. We had to move rooms because the air-con in our room was blowing hot air instead of cold. When I went to... More

not recommended. breakfest is so so ... location is controversial. surrounding streets doesnt seems secure after midnight. you are passing through an autopark inside the hotel to reach the room. rooms are dark. bad smell + insect. reception Ok.

The rooms are spacious. The view from the hotel room is awesome. Located centrally, close to everything. We stayed here three days and loved it. The breakfast is not entirely cold, they also serve hot food with Champaign :) Very helpful front desk.

Very well situated - 10 minute walk to La Rambla - 10 minute walk to Christopher Columbus Square where there was a tourist office(open to 8pm) ready with excellent information. The breakfast room in the Hotel had something for everyone - we don't eat wheat & there was lot's of variety of foods.....yogurt, eggs, fruit, cheese, meats...yummmm!! The rooms were... More

Staying in El Raval

Neighborhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
