We recently stayed here for 2 nights and cannot think of a negative word to say! The room and bathroom were modern, with spacious and comfortable beds. The room had a safety deposit box. The reception staff were helpful and welcoming. The hotel could not be more perfectly located - a 20 second walk to the metro stop, which is... More

Stayed here for 4 nights and was great. Just off the Rambles and close to the metro. You need to ask to stay in the 2nd building as the rooms at the front are noisy from the road and nightlife here. Room was cleaned every day, fresh towels and beds made. Clean and tidy but air con not to good!... More

Very central hotel on busy road. Within walking distance to Las Ramblas, beach and harbour. Lots of nice restaurants close by. Lovely, clean, comfortable room. Staff not too friendly. Give breakfast a miss. Not worth the money. Standard of food poor. Underground parking at reasonable price. Would stay again but no breakfast. Good value for central location.

Had an amazing time, didn't want to go home.....lol. Went to loads places in the time, used metro, the tour bus and walked, a lot! Del born, just off the gothic part was stunning, proper old town. La ramblas good and on final night, went to Mnac, ate up in the museum posh restaurant, overlooking the colour changing water fountains,... More

Room was small. Cleaned everyday. On one of the days we only got two hand towels. Asked at reception three times for bath towels & was told they would send them to our room immediately. Didn't get them til next day. Staff on reception not very friendly except for one man who was there the first day. Location is a... More

Position wonderful with walking distance to most tourist areas. Staff very friendly, rooms spacious, clean and well appointed. Bar staff great, food looked good, although we did not eat there. Breakfast buffet, sometimes had to queue for a table, had something for everyone from bacon to water melon. Only problem noise at night, from around three am there was a... More

This hotel turned out to be a real gem. Location is very good. Walkable to La Ramba and the Hop on Hop off bus, which we found was great. Over the road are good and cheap restaurants for food and beer as La Ramba is for Tourists only with tourists prices. Reception was very efficient and very helpful. The rooms... More

The room is modern, the reception area, not so much. Don't be put off by that though, the rooms are updated, stylish and clean. We had a room on the top level that had a great patio attached, fun to sit out there and watch the world go by, it looked as if it was the only one with this... More

Staying in El Raval

Neighborhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
