We've just spent 3 days in Barcelona and 2 nights in this hotel. After reading some of the reviews of the hotel I was expecting it to be horrible, and when we got there we just confirmed that is a horrible place. In order to get to the rooms you need to pass a parking (yes, there is a parking... more

After reading some of the reviews for this hotel prior to our visit we were a bit concerned as what to expect. However, we were presently suprised. The location is fantastic - plenty of bars outside the hotel with friendly staff and about 10mins walk from las ramblas. Yes, the rooms are basic, but clean and functional, the maid came... more

I have previously stayed at this hotel last year and was pleased with the service. We stayed in Barcelona again in June this year for the motorcycle grand prix and again booked the Auto Hogar, we were allocated a room at the back of the hotel on the first floor, which overlooked the service road to local bars and restaurants.... more

The hotel is in a good location, it is on a busy road but this did not bother us as we were in what originally I assume was a seperate hotel at the back through an under cover car park. I'm guessing that the photos advertising the hotel are of rooms in the front block-we were disappointed with ours, we... more

We were positivly surprised of this hotel after reading all bad reviews. The room was clean and they cleaned it and changed towels every day. Air condition, window and balcony, bathtub even if I don´t recomend anything else than to take a shower in it. You can tell the hotell is quite old. The staff was very polite and helpfull.... more

Ten English women aged between 17 and 50ish stayed 3 nights for hen weekend. We were dreading the accomodation because such poor reviews, but the rooms we had were very clean, sheets, towels changed every day, not like the pics on review. We had hot water morning and evening. Walls were paper thin, not recommended for a romantic break. Many nationalities... more

Two early aged travelers around europe. We stayed on level one just near the stairs. The room was basic and facing the main road. Spain won a soccer match that night so there were cars beeping constantly til about 4am in the morning which made us very tired in the morning. But we got free breakfast which also had warm... more

Except location nothing is good about this hotel. It was noisy, poorly equipped and not worth the money. The room was very small, dark and air conditioner was not working. The layout of this hotel was a bit of a strange as we had to walk through the car valet to get to our room. We left the hotel immediately.... more
