Staffs were friendly. One room has broken AC but we got changed to a different room. Wi-Fi works great. Breakfast is not included, 14euro extra per day but you really don't need it as the hotel is very close to market, restaurants, bars, etc...

Our first stay in Barcelona and we picked this hotel for it's location to La Rambla and the port. The hotel is wonderful, swish and luxurious feeling without being pretentious (or expensive). The receptionists were very helpful in giving directions and ideas for where to go, where to eat etc. and, being on the quieter Rambla del Raval, it was... More

I stayed for 3 days on business and the place was very comfy. The location is great it's just 5 minutes walk to las ramblas and placa de Catalonia The staff were very friendly and helpful. Very peaceful and safe surroundings as well. Lot of places to eat nearby.

Stayed here for a family birthday. Choose a cheapish hotel just to stay for a weekend city break. Hotel was in a great location and what you would typically expect of 3*. Was comfortable, and do a good selection at breakfast. About a five minute walk from the main strip. Located on a quiet square with bars/restaurants around. In walking... More

We stayed at this hotel for a week in early June. We were looking for somewhere reasonably priced, but fairly close to Las Ramblas and this hotel met the right criteria. From the outside it does not look anything special, but once inside we were pleasantly suprised. The rooms are very clean and comfortable with air conditioning. Nice, decent sized bathroom... More

We had our reservationa about booming mainly due to how cheap the hotel was! Turns out need not have worried. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was excellent. Rooms were clean with air con and fridge. Location is great as you out of the way of the bustle of Las Ramblas but can easily walk there in 5 mind.... More

An ok hotel for a long weekend in Barcelona. The location is not the best and we will recpmend to be more than one when walking home at night. The breakfast (10 Eur) is good and can be recomended. The rooms at as expected with aircondition.......

Stayed here for 2 nights before and after a cruise. Room pretty basic but clean and comfortable. Great location, short walk to La Rambla, restaurants, shopping close by. Hotel staff very helpful, excellent full breakfast included, reasonable rates. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Spent two nights here this month the hotel is very clean and staff are lovely. The only down side to this hotel is the area there is graffiti everywhere!! But the street cleaners where working round the clock trying to keep the place tidy.

Staying in El Raval

Neighborhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
