Far away from the city center, nearest metro is 20 minutes walking distance, no near restaurants, rude reception and paid 16 euros for laundry that was only a couple of underwears. although the rooms were great but for me that really didnt matter because we barely slept in barcelona or we even barely used the room

The hotel is quite far from the Barcelona center, it took about 20-30 minutes to go there every day. For 8 days we spent around 50€ for transport (to go to the city center and travel in there). The staff was great, always with a smile and ready to help. Although the room service was a bit lazy in the... More

This is ok accommodation however it is too far out in another town. I went here not properly looking at where the hotel was actually located so you had to catch the tram into the centre which took about 25-30mins. It was a basic hotel With no frills. If you want something cheap and don't mind the commute then book... More

I stayed on an EF trip with 18 kids. I didn't think the area was unsafe or sketchy. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean but very small. I had to be in the shower to close the bathroom door. It was a way from downtown, but the public transportation made it easy to get downtown. I'm... More

This hotel is was a huge let down after our stay in Madrid, the rooms were so small there was no where to put your suitcases. You had to get into the shower in order to close the bathroom door. The food was average at best. The area the hotel was in was quite sketchy, I can't believe EF couldn't... More

A five minute walk from team which takes you into city. 15 minute ride from p. espana and a 5 minute ride from stadium. Hotel is located in a very safe residential neighborhood with a cute shopping area and ice cream within walking distance. Went with students and hotel was packed and there was a security guard on site to... More

I stayed here as part of an EF Tour I was a traveler on. It's located outside of the city of Barcelona and it a 20-30 trip into the city by Tram and Metro. Wehen we arriced they took our Passports, which was a little shady to say the least. They ended up making copies of all the passports then... More

Theycall it a hostel but Lami is really a budget hotel. rooms are spartan but very clean. All staff were very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. My friend and i are both recently retired so we stayed a month.Plenty of time to discover Lami's bad points. In all honesty, there were none.Sure it could be a tad noisy but nothing to worry... It is indeed a hotel that offers nothing but the basics. The rooms are clean, but your sleep will be disturbed by a bed that isn't comfortable, hard pillows, an electricity unit in the room that makes knocking noises every hour (loud enough to wake you up) plus all the noise from the rest of the building: Other guests flushing... Lami is more of a 3 star hotel. Very clean, quiet and very good location close to highway and 5 mins. from the airport. Free wifi is available but is very slow. Hostal Lami is actually in Esplugues de Llobregat which is a Barcelona suburb. You have about 6 km to Plaza Espana which is not bad.
