The hotel is clean, the staff is friendly. However the rooms are so hot that it is not possible to sleep there. Since there is no airconditioning and the windows cannot be opened due to street noice, we did not enjoy our two night stay at the hotel.

This hotel is easy to find - it is very centrally located (just 10-15 minutes away by foot from the Placa Catalunya). The exterior of it is really impressive - painted with some interesting murals. The staff is predictably friendly, breakfast is delicious and the conference service (which we used to organize our meeting) is well organized. There is also... More

I liked my stay at this beautiful hotel. I attended a 4 days seminar. Centrally located, just 10 minutes on foot from Placa Catalunya and 5 minutes from the nearest metro station - Girona. Walking distance to the main Barcelona attractions. Room is ok with everything one needs - tv, ac, wi-fi, nice bathroom. Breakfast is plentiful and staff is... More

I stayed for two nights in a business trip. The location is great, just just 2 blocks away from Passeig de Gracia. The decoration is a bit old fashioned, but the bed is very comfortable, rooms are clean and neat, breakfast is varied and service is efficient and sympathetic. I recommend it for someone not much interested in the luxury... More

In this tranquil part of Barcelona you can rest at this hotel with excellent service and next to perfect beds between excursions to Casa Mila, Casa Batllò and La Sagrada Familia, all masterpieces of Gaudi. Two blocks away is graceful Passieg de Gracia and la Rambla is not far away. Have a glass of cava on the roof terrass. I... More

Friendly, helpful staff, and amazing comfy beds, make this a great place to stay. We had a street-facing room, but it was still really quiet due to double-doors onto the window. Fantastic location only 10 mins walk from the place de Catalunya, gothic quarter, and not much further to the sagrada familia. Thanks for a great stay!

Very small room, with a poor ambience and some poor details (such as low water pressure and difficulties in regulating the water temperature). For 200€ per night, would expect a much better experience. Also had a bad experience on the bar: an expensive cocktail served according to the standard of a 3rd class bar.

Nice little quaint hotel in a good location. Has gym and pool facilities, good wifi and generally helpful staff. Hotel has a very hip and trendy vibe and could be considered a boutique hotel. Was happy with my stay here. The restaurant Inhouse serves delectable Spanish dishes. I would stay here again.

Stayed here for 5 nights and it is a good location with lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Convenient to buses and close to sightseeing spots. It is surprisingly quiet for such a busy location in the heart of the city. Good breakfast buffet and bar as well. Not luxurious but a good value.

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
