Stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. I was very happy with this hotel. It is 3 star and you should not expect a large room but the room is very adequate and very clean. This is all I needed. The other room doors on the floor I was on ( 7)were noisy when people came and went, due to... More

Thank you for taking the time to send us your feedback. With respect to noise in sunsets. Sorry for the inconvenience. They are fire doors and also they have to close their weight alone is greater than a normal door. I will pass the note to the technical department to see if we can minoritised noise. More

The hotel is definitely not 3 stars, should be 4+ according to the room and the service i had. room is big with a parlor with an extra bed for my daughter, bath room is huge with a bathtub. hotel location is only 10 minutes walking for Catalunia square and near many attractions and shopping areas. i will stay there... The most valuable asset of this hotel is it's location, because it is in walking distance to several landmarks and museums. If you are fan of Gaudi, there is a Gaudi House on the 2nd street. The rooms are clean and their equipment is as standard like in other hotels I already been in, just the room might be a... More

I came here with my partner in June for a long weekend. Tripadvisor was helpful because someone commented about getting from the airport to hotel , platform 1 to passieg de gracia, which was only ~€4 , instead of getting a taxi for €25! We took advise getting a room on the top floor(7) with a room NOT facing the... More

Reasonable room space with good fast wifi. The staff are friendly and helped us with retrieving my mobile from the taxi lost property office and booking tickets for Segrada Familia and Park Guell. Hotel Taber is in a good location: 5 minutes walk from Casa Batllo and Passeig de Gracia metro station. Our room was quiet, clean and comfortable. Plenty... More

Stayed here for 4 nights. The first morning I woke up to find a very large puddle on the floor where the air conditioning was leaking. There were no directions on the phone to call the desk, so it kept running out while I got dressed and went for help. They cleaned the floor up quickly, but made no adjustment... More

I regret the inconvenience during your stay at the hotel. Because of the condensations sometimes the air conditioning drips. Although only in very specific occasions. I'm sorry. The technical department is already aware and are taking appropriate action. We have phone directory bedside table where the phone is located. I repeat my apologies for any inconveniences. More

Good location, lots of nice restaurants nearby and great location for shopping. Free Wifi was good. About a 30 minute walk to La Sagrada Familia and probably a 20 min walk down Las Ramblas (the hotel is up the top end). Did not eat breakfast at the hotel. Very quiet hotel, did not hear any noise from the street. Seems... More

Stayed there for 4 nights. Decent room space. Breakfast was good - not so fancy but included several varieties of food. Wifi was good. All staff are friendly and helpful. The best thing about it was the location: 2 blocks away from Casa Batllo and Passeig de gracia metro station. Rambla de catalunya at the corner. Surrounded by several shopping... More

I booked late for a business trip. It was a basic hotel. Room was small and dated. For some reason it had an exercise bike in it. Internet worked well and shower was good. Breakfast was fine. I had to iron a shirt but had to do it on a small board and there was really no where in the... More

We always prefer to stay close to Universitat, but prices there were way too high during Circuit festival. So we chose this, which is still very centrally located. Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
