Nice hostel in a great location for travelers. The staff are pleasant and nice. Upper bed is very uncomfortable, there is only one electrical outlet. The cabinets are too small and the ladders up are very simple the and comfortable. It really hurts the feet to climb the ladder without shoes

Apart from the noise at 5am from people coming in and out, our stay was great and the location was perfect. We literally drank 100 jugs of Sangria every day so we slept fine but we we're woken up a few times.

-good prices and breakfast and AMAZING location -very strict on noise-at night if you want to chat even quietly there is absolutely no where to go as they close the rooftop terrace at 8 pm and someone yells at you if you talk in any common area like the lobby or the couches. So if you are awake past 11... More

The location is good but the bathrooms and kitchen are not that much. the bathrooms are almost always dirty, they don't have hand dryer, the showers are really small. The personnel is kind and they helped me every time I needed it. the breakfast is ok.

Regarding the price it's very nice. The location is excellent. The best equity in Barcelona no doubt! I slept in a dorm with 18/20 beds and the curtain's idea it's very good, the first time I saw that in an hostel. The only thing to improve are the girls showers. And in the winter it makes no sense not offering... More

Excellent location. Great and helpful staff. Breakfast was excellent too. I've been to 5 other hostels in 5 other cities. Equity Point Gothic for me is the top. Their Prague counterpart wasnt able to match the good customer service skills demonstrated by those in Barcelona. Will definitely be back or recommend this hostel.

Very good location, only a short stroll to Las Ramblas. I found the staff friendly, and helpful. The place was cleaned ok, with large and spacious dorms. The breakfast is simple, and basic, but is included in the price. However, you will need a head for heights if you've been allocated the upper bunk! It's quite high up, one of... More

This hostel is a great way to meet people. I traveled alone and was worried about not meeting anyone to hang with but I was wrong. The place is private and clean but the breakfast isnt that great and they charge for towels and linens as well as if you lose your room key. It a great location right in... More

Its central position, the friendly staff, the new facilities and of course its prices made me like this hostel very much. Nothing extremely negative. Even though I was there during the Halloween and there was a noisy environment for two days, it's a youth hostel! So I still was satisfied. I totally suggest it!

Upon arrival, we were all handed bedding which included 1 sheet, no covers. 14beds per room, the top bunks were extremely high and not sturdy. Later on as we were in town for dinner, our lockers were broken into by a student who checked in at that time.all of our cash and cards were stolen plus more. The staff was... More

Staying in El Born / La Ribera

Neighborhood Profile
El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few places that live and breathe such exciting energy regardless of the time of day. This neighborhood seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants ranging from fancy Michelin-star establishments to trendy fusion restaurants. Here you'll find historical and cultural attractions such as the popular Picasso Museum and the Gothic cathedral La Santa Maria del Mar, where you just might be able to catch a traditional Catalan wedding.
