My husband and I came for our honeymoon, and it was perfect. Clean, good size rooms, great shower and hair dryer, lovely service. Right next to Arc de Triumph, great shopping and eats. Elsa & Fred directly across the street is great for food/drinks. Highly recommend!

I knew I wanted to stay in the Born neighborhood after visiting Barcelona several times on holiday and finding myself in Born late night. We changed the reservation at the last minute to add extra nights and the hotel accommodated the change with no issues. The front desk staff was friendly and spoke very good English. We had room 902... More

We stayed here at the end of October 2014 prior to boarding our cruise ship. It's a wonderful hotel in the heart of Barcelona. It has everything you need. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The free wifi and full breakfast was truly appreciated. Service was swift and polite. The rooftop pool and lounge is an added bonus. The hotel is... More

Stayed here last week with my wife and son on a short city break. Booked the hotel through Expedia with no hassle at all. Its a 4* classification and probably worth that. Check in was very swift and friendly and we had an adequate size triple room. Normally when you have an additional bed in the room they are pretty... More

We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights and it was ideal. Within walking distance of Bari Gotic, La Rambla, Plaza Catalunya, Barceloneta, and even Sagrada Familia. The Arc de Triomphe is next door and leads down to a nice park. The room was clean and ideal for our stay; great breakfast selection, and many restaurants in the neighbourhood. The... More

Stayed at Catalonia Born in may2014 for 3 nights. The service was great and was close to a beautiful park and handy to all the attractions of Barcelona. We were on the 5th floor overlooking the street, there was a little bit of noise from across the bar and restaurant across the street, did not bother us too much. The... More

nice hotel, excellent location, next to the Arch the Triumph or walking distance to the sightseeing aereas. Large bathroom and shower, liked that. Beds very good, but third bed in room for kid was average. Room for three a bit small for two ok. Nice small pool at the top of the hotel. Supermarkets nearby, great breakfast location across street... More

Staying in El Born / La Ribera

Neighborhood Profile
El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few places that live and breathe such exciting energy regardless of the time of day. This neighborhood seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants ranging from fancy Michelin-star establishments to trendy fusion restaurants. Here you'll find historical and cultural attractions such as the popular Picasso Museum and the Gothic cathedral La Santa Maria del Mar, where you just might be able to catch a traditional Catalan wedding.
