Pablo on reception was welcoming and friendly, and was more than happy to assist us with sightseeing, providing us with maps and tips on transport and places to go. All staff were pleasant to us and helpful. We were given our breakfasts for free for our entire stay due to any disturbances that may have occurred to us due to... More

It's a nice hotel, in a great location and very good value for money. We stayed for 2 nights and their was refurbishments happening in the reception and bar area which was not a great first impression. The bar appeared closed on both nights. The breakfast was great but the staff were not particularly attentive or friendly to us. The... More

Very nice hotel! Abit worn out,but still good for the price, its pretty luxurious from part to part.good tv.good bed.very good roomservice.toilets are very nice.only big minus comes from the noisy hallways cos lack of carpets so it echoes alot. I stayed 3-4 times here,so id say its worth of visit, due to the location and price and comforts.

If you look for a hotel with good access to south of Barcelona, a clean one, this would be your best choice. In this hotel a calm room means calm, not even one tiny noise from out side. Bed and bathroom is clean and tidy. Staff are very friendly, polite and helpful. In the neighborhood you can buy fruits and... More

My husband and I came for our honeymoon, and it was perfect. Clean, good size rooms, great shower and hair dryer, lovely service. Right next to Arc de Triumph, great shopping and eats. Elsa & Fred directly across the street is great for food/drinks. Highly recommend!

I knew I wanted to stay in the Born neighborhood after visiting Barcelona several times on holiday and finding myself in Born late night. We changed the reservation at the last minute to add extra nights and the hotel accommodated the change with no issues. The front desk staff was friendly and spoke very good English. We had room 902... More

We stayed here at the end of October 2014 prior to boarding our cruise ship. It's a wonderful hotel in the heart of Barcelona. It has everything you need. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The free wifi and full breakfast was truly appreciated. Service was swift and polite. The rooftop pool and lounge is an added bonus. The hotel is... More

Staying in El Born / La Ribera

Neighborhood Profile
El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few places that live and breathe such exciting energy regardless of the time of day. This neighborhood seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants ranging from fancy Michelin-star establishments to trendy fusion restaurants. Here you'll find historical and cultural attractions such as the popular Picasso Museum and the Gothic cathedral La Santa Maria del Mar, where you just might be able to catch a traditional Catalan wedding.
