Great located hotel, only 5min walking from the Placa de Catalunya, sourrounded with great bistros, cafes, tapas tavern. Rooms clean, very comfortable, bathrooms great, clean. We had a room looking into the courtyard which was great because I assume that the rooms facing the street can be quite loud Friendly receptionists

Last week I stayed in this hotel for one night. The hotel is very nicely located close to Plaza Catalunya and the Ramblas. The hotel itself is very nicely decorated, the rooms are very well equipped and very clean. Also the breakfast is great, so if you are looking for a nice and good hotel downtown Barcelone, I should select... More

My husband and I went on a cruise of the Mediterranean that was leaving out of Barcelona. Neither of us had been to Barcelona before so we decided to go a day early and explore this amazing city. We were originally supposed to stay at a different hotel (can't remember the name), but we were moved to St. Moritz because... More

Decent hotel in the heart of Barcelona, just a few minutes away from de Pg de Gracia. Rooms and bathrooms are spacious but could use a new modern look (current colors are kind of dark and dated). Same thing for the restaurant and bar, especially the bar doesn't feel right for a 4* hotel. Breakfast is ok, don't expect anything... More

Very disappointed with the quality of the rooms at this hotel. Stayed for three nights in the month of November and found the room heating turned on – considering the outside temperature was 18c. Disappointed the rooms did not have air conditioning, considering it’s a 4* hotel. The hotel does seem to have a problem with constant slamming doors through... More

we stayed here for 3 nights in october and it was a lovely stay. The location is excellent..you are like 5-10 minutes from las Ramblas and when you walk out of hotel you are in passeig de gracie which is a busy shopping area with excellent restaurants...the blackout curtains are great and you get good sleep...the view was a bit... We arrived at the hotel early Sunday afternoon at the end of September, in the pouring rain. The doorman was not around to help us with our luggage. The entrance to the hotel lobby had a few steps, no ramp, and no handrails. The hotel offers free wi-fi, and at check-in, we were informed that it would be activated in... More

The hotel is just a few walking minutes from plaça catalunya. The rooms are very big and clean. You don't have any care noise as our room was located on the inner courtyard on the 4th floor. Staff was friendly and helpful. We didn't have breakfast there, so no idea how that was. Wifi worked fast and stable. We can... More

Stayed for 3 nights at the HCC St Moritz and was very impressed with the hotel. I always prefer an efficient hotel that just does the job and is not in your face. This fitted the bill perfectly. Staff on the desk were great and helpful when I had a question. The breakfast room and food were also great. But... More

We stayed here on a 3 night city break to Barcelona. The location was very central, about 5 minutes walk to the main square Place de Catalunya and just off a main avenue Passeig de Gracia. Close to a metro station too. On arrival the reception staff were welcoming and friendly, providing us with maps and tips on what to... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
