Been here the last 3 years. It used to be very good but this year it was not too good. The room was not that clean. Well still everything was quite ok and the price was fair id you consider the good price. The staff at the reception was ok but also not too friendly...

This hotel wasn't they bad, good was good at breakfast. Clean and helpful. In the business district so not that close to the touristy kind if things but it all depends on what you are looking for. I'd stay again with no issues but not my first choice.

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. I got this through priceline's name your own price. The hotel is very average. The hotel is about 25 minutes’ walk from the city center, although, there are several bus stations near the hotel and you can hop on one and get there in 10 minutes or so. The bed was very... More

Stayed at the end of our Mediterranean cruise - the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms are plain and quite old fashioned, not the type to encourage you to stay in .. and although simple were clean. If you wish to use the safe you have to pay which was a bit of a surprise - close to busy... More

We spent 3 nights in HCC Covadonga. The hotel is in a decent location in the city center and is well connected, so reaching and exploring the nearby areas is not an issue. It is also very close to the Barcelona Sants station so taking connecting trains will also not be a problem. The staff at the reception is also... More

Definitely note a three star hotel. Room had not been upgraded in decades. Bedding had cigarette burns and the carpet was absolutely nasty. We ended up booking another 3-star hotel that was much nicer and had a better location. The other hotel also confirmed that the HCC Covadonga has no place in the 3-star category.

The location is not so touristy which is perfect! and still its so close to passage di gracia and el corte d,englais is right across the street.the metro is five blocks down the street (which is a 10 min walk) the bus station is right infrony of the hotel. The metro is so easy to understand.

Decent hotel - nothing fancy. Very clean. Nice hotel staff. Room itself is pretty dated. Only issue would be comfort of beds and pillows. Pillows are rock hard. I'm an easy-going sleeper, but by the third and fourth nights I was quite uncomfortable. If you are a light sleeper, bring earplugs! The doors slam very loudly and the walls along... More

We stayed at this hotel for two nights prior to our med cruise, and this was included as part of our package. Whilst this hotel is not 5 star on La Ramblas or near the beach, it served us well as we wanted a base to tour Barcelona. The hotel is in a more quiet part which we quite liked... More

This hotel was picked for me by the agency assisting with a large conference I attended in Barcelona. It is functional and I stayed in a small single room, which was sparsely furnished and appeared to be ready for a refurb. The reception was OK, and the staff friendly. Breakfast was average, but there are many good value cafés nearby... More
