Hcc montblanc is located 4min walking from placa catalunya. Right next to hotel you have few restaurants, shop and pizza place opened 24h. Metro station is very close. Rooms are quite basic, double bed is two singles put together, good size but you can feel a gap between beds. There were only two sockets in our room. Wifi isn't good.... More

We stayed in this hotel 5 nights with my friend. I was very happy for this choice. The hotel has great position. But I can say that if walk to the beach it is quit far away. Around 30 mins. Our room was very big for two people so we had a lot of space. I can say that the... More

This was a great location for a weekend sightseeing in Barcelona. You are so close to the Gothic quarter and the Ramblas. Hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and spacious and breakfast was good. You need to request a hot breakfast. We would recommend this hotel to families and would stay here again. The pool... More

Excellent location - the hotel is next to Placa Catalunya so it's only 2-3 minutes of walking. This allows you to use Aerobus from/to airport which is going from Placa Catalunya, so this will save your money for taxi. Also you are in the heart of Barcelona so it is couple of minutes walk to Rambla and other places. Staff... More

This is an OK hotel, the room was big and clean. I requested double bed and got two singles combined. The breakfast was really poor and not worth the extra value. At rear of the hotel there is massive construction and very noisy, I requested a quite room and it was delivered, ask for a room in a high floor... More

I had done lots of research before heading to Barcelona for the first time but there is always a risk of getting it wrong. However I don't think I could have done better with this hotel. Couldn't have had a better location whether it be for the easy airport bus or for the places to see. Friendly reception staff as... More

Great location-only minutes far from bus stations, subway, walking areas,La Rambla. Many small typical restaurants around. The airport bus station and the tourist double deck busses are 100 m far from the hotel. Polite staff.Clean rooms.i asked for an quiet room and got such. I recommend this hotel

A little well known hotel in Barcelona! This is what I thought the first time I saw it . But I was wrong. It 's not little at all. It' s well known for sure but the front/facade was not as inviting as it should be. The inside was impressive. The staff.@ the reception area were very nice, friendly and... More

Neighborhood Profile
Barrio Gotico (Barri Gotic)
With its iconic, old-Europe streets and alleys, this picturesque neighborhood is the very heart of Barcelona. It blends historic artifacts from its days under Roman dominion up through the Spanish Civil War with a vibrant modern-day culture of artisan shops and authentic culinary experiences. Avid explorers will be thrilled to discover quaint terraces and plazas brought to life by the many small bars and local musicians lasting late into the night. Fashionistas will be drawn to Portal de L’Angel, which is lined with well-known brand names and smaller boutique stands.
