Could not fault this Hotel. We arrived early off a cruise, they kindly found us a room available. reception staff are great . Rooms are modern with a large bathroom and shower. Breakfast was included in our rate. very good offerings The hop on hop off bus stop is right outside and there is very interesting old district behind the... More

The location of this hotel couldn't be better. We were able to walk to many places and the area was a good mix of tourist along with locals. Very safe, especially since we were getting back to the hotel really late at night. The room was a bit small, but that's to be expected in europe. It was very quiet... More

Stayed here a year ago and only just thought to leave a review. Cannot say a bad thing about this place. All staff that we came into contact with were delightful, impressively swapping languages simultaneously between conversations and going out of their way to be approachable and understanding. The room was large and the bathroom airy and clean. Breakfast was... More

Hotel Picasso is directly across from Ciutadella Park, and with in walking distance of the Picasso Museum, both of which we visited. We spent 3 days here and it could not have been better. The hotel room is a small but very comfortable and has all the amenities that you would need. The breakfast buffet was great and the small... More

Best location for exploring the Born and other parts of Barcelona. Close to the lovely Parc Ciutadela. Great staff, tranquil and great accommodation. Staff gracious, bar lovely, best location in the city!

My wife and I enjoyed 4 nights at this excellent property in mid June. Our room, while small, was well appointed and very clean and faced towards a beautiful, large park across the street. Many sights were within walking distance and the local "hop on-hop off" city tour bus stop was right outside the hotel and the closest subway stop... More

We stayed in the Born district in Barcelona at the K+K Picasso. It is a great neighborhood and location, close to the waterfront. Mario and Pawel, our concierge's at the hotel made our stay terrific. They took care of our every need and were always helpful and friendly. We were treated to a bottle of Cava to celebrate our wedding!... More

Room worked out great as we had a courtyard facing suite: very adequate space for a family of 2 adults and 2 small kids. No noise from outside or neighbouring rooms. Got to our room quite quickly, even a litte bit before the official check-in schedule, which was a major plus considering kids' nap needs. Enjoyed the breakfast service. Asking... More

We stayed here for 4 nights in June 2015. The room was clean and modern and spacious ( we got an upgrade to look over the park). Although we were on the road with the window closed we could hear nothing. The breakfast was extensive and excellent, although come 9am it was full with an overflow to the bar area.... More

Stayed at the Picasso mid June and delighted we chose it. It's well positioned, 15ish mins walk from new port and 10ish from old port, right next to Bus Stop 3 on the open top Orange (West) route. The advice we received about a 25 min walk to the Sagrada was a tad optimistic, though, it's closer to 40. The... More

Staying in El Born / La Ribera

Neighborhood Profile
El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few places that live and breathe such exciting energy regardless of the time of day. This neighborhood seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants ranging from fancy Michelin-star establishments to trendy fusion restaurants. Here you'll find historical and cultural attractions such as the popular Picasso Museum and the Gothic cathedral La Santa Maria del Mar, where you just might be able to catch a traditional Catalan wedding.
