Hotel is in a very good position in the old part of town close to museums, cathedral, Ramblas, park, shopping etc and within easy walking of the seafront, beaches, harbour etc. Lots of good restaurants tucked away in the side streets..Took us about 30 mins to walk from Placa Catalunya (good/cheap bus service from airport to here). Glad we had... More

Stayed here in may. The hotel was perfect for exploring Barcelona by foot. Plenty of lovely restaurants nearby. The swimming pool was a nice touch after a day out. The staff extremely friendly and very helpful. The room was not large but very clean and quiet we were at the back of the hotel. The breakfast was plentiful. The food... More

Attentive and friendly staff, excellent location in Barcelona to access museums, shopping, train station, parks and zoo. Hotel and rooms were well maintained. Roof top pool a plus with our daughter and the onsite retaurant and bar serice were top notch.

We stayed here for a friends birthday. It is in a great location, very central for sightseeing in Barcelona. The hotel staff were very welcoming and couldn't do enough to help us. Alex in particular gave us some great ideas for dinner and Mario was very helpful with ideas for things to see and the best way to visit the... More

Excellent location....It is really difficult to find any fault with this hotel. We stayed for three nights, and booked a superior room (not sure what they called it). These rooms overlook the park, although you can't see much of the park. The room was clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable (the double bed was two twins pushed together, with... More

Service in hotel was great and its a great location. Close enough to walk to all the attractions, near a park on other side, not far from intercity bus terminal and trip to and from airport is on major roads so you don't get into the mess of the city traffic. Breakfast in hotel was brilliant. Bar tender was happy... More

Stayed at the K+K Picasso Hotel in Barcelona in the El Born neighborhood and loved it. Had a beautiful room facing the park. Staff was helpful and there was a delicious buffet breakfast. Location was away from Las Ramblas but could walk there in 20 minutes. Lots of great restaurants around the corner. S.Y.

Good location to be in, not to far from the gothic quarter and restaurants. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were nice and spacious. Would definitely stay here again when visiting Barcelona in the future and recommend it to anyone looking for a nice boutique hotel in a great location with an exceptional staff.

We stayed two nights in the K&K Picasso in April, 2015. The hotel was clean, the room was nice and the location was awesome. We had a separate living room and bedroom, which wasn't necessary for us, but would have been nice for families. We had a few concerns, though. There was a lot of noise during the day from... More

It´s a pleasure to stay in the heart of the old, wealthy merchant El Born quarter of this lively city. Hotel Picasso is a botique hotel that´s clean and comfortable. Each room is fully equiped for all our technologies! Within a 10 minute walk, there are many traditional tapas bars, restaurants, designer boutiques, and historic sights. My reception at chek... Staying in El Born / La Ribera

Neighborhood Profile
El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few places that live and breathe such exciting energy regardless of the time of day. This neighborhood seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants ranging from fancy Michelin-star establishments to trendy fusion restaurants. Here you'll find historical and cultural attractions such as the popular Picasso Museum and the Gothic cathedral La Santa Maria del Mar, where you just might be able to catch a traditional Catalan wedding.
