The hotel is a fair choice as it is located very close to the center (Las Ramblas), the rooms are clean and pretty much new, and the wifi good enough (stayed at 6th floor). The reception desk was helpful (just the necessary) and there is a supermarket and a taxi piazza directly outside the hotel. That regarding the positive comments... More

We stayed at this hotel in March. The staff is quite friendly, the hotel is exactly at city center 5 min from Las Ramblas and Palau Guel. The hotel is clean. The breakfast was not included in our reservation, however, we didn't find it so interesting and we didn't choose it. Take care if you want to leave your things... More

This hotel was in an amazing location within a block from La Rambla, metro, the beach and all major attractions. The hotel and rooms are modern, clean, relaxing with friendly staff. On your own, you would feel safe as getting around the hotel requires your key to access various parts of the building. Would recommend this highly.

Excellent location in Raval district, very friendly personnel, good beds, clean, and that for a good price - so we can only recommend this hotel. Received a free upgrade (our stay was for one night only), which was a very nice gesture of the manager. Would definitely come back here when visiting again.

This hotel is everything you need in Barcelona. Staff are really helpful and friendly, the rooms are spotlessly clean we had a terrace with 2 sun beds, free wifi in rooms, breakfast was good and the views from the rooftop pool is fantastic. It's close to the metros and the hotels can sell you tickets (T 10 ticket cost 10... More

Really enjoyed our stay at this hotel in February for my birthday. The staff could not have been nicer, and really helpful. Found the location great really close walk to La Ramblas, Gothic Area, Marina and it was really good value. Things they can improve would be the overall quality of breakfast which I found a bit basic but it... More

The rooftop pool offers some of the best views in the whole city and the rooma on the top floors are priceless! The only problem is that the pool is not heated, so even in June it was pretty cold to stay in for more than 10 minutes. Don't worry about location - it is safe! nobody is gonna kill... More

...the thermostat would actually work! I had constantly 28.5 degrees in my room as the thermostat wouldn't set the heating so had to keep the window open. When notified the staff - very polite and all speaking very good English - I was told there was nothing that could be done. The bedroom was quite small but the bathroom is... More

I booked this hotel for my parents who were going to Barcelona on a weekend trip. As you's know booking a hotel for other people, especially parents, adds an extra layer of pressure so I was absolutely delighted when they came back singing the praises of not only the actual hotel itself beds, location etc but also the extremely helpful... Perfect location, good sized well furnished room with comfortable bed. Excellent beakfast buffet for only 9 euros if you book and pay in advance. Easy access to La Rambla and two nearby Metro stations.

Staying in El Raval

Neighborhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
