I have booked this hotel for my family short city break in Barcelona . They have found the hotel`s location perfect ! just near the buzzing Rambla and close to Metro station. The reception staff is super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was tasty and plenty of choices. The room was cleaned daily and they have loved the pool on... More

We stayed in Barcelona for a long weekend break in mid-October 2013. It rained a lot so we spent quite a bit of time in the hotel. The rooms are clean, modern, comfortable and well serviced. Staff are friendly and helpful. Location is slightly dodgy at night (like most of Barcelona) but fine during the day and very centrally located.... More

This is the perfect hotel for the price... Really good location, and rooftop pool which is PERFECT in the summer if you are not a fan of the beach or living close to the beach. Walking distance to a lot of things also restaurants in the evening.. Will for sure go back!!

Compare to the others same range, the hotel is very new and clean. minutes walk to La Ramblas and Drassanes station. Unluckily we went there in December, no chance to enjoy the pool with supurb view on the top floor.

We stayed here on a recent short break. Hotel is clean and modern - no frills but we were impressed with the room. There is snacks and drinks available in the lobby and hotel is well situated just a short walk to the port, LA Ramblas and bars and restaurants. Well worth a visit!

This hotel is on a quiet street but still close to the Ramblas and the magnificent Mercado de la Boqueria. Metro stations are also walking distance away. Clean rooms, nice breakfast buffet and very friendly staff.

Booked 4 days Christmas break at Andante Hotel. On arrival I was given warm room with single beds pushed together, so asked for a double as travelling alone. Double room I was given was freezing cold - Felt as if I was in a fridge. No instructions on heating and tried in vain to kick start it. Called reception they... More

Hotel very close to Ramblas. Rooms are clean and well kept! The only problem is the hotel doesnt offer anything else beside breakfast and if you get hungry at night you might need to leave the hotel and the area does not look very safe so we always end up eating food from the bending machines they have! Hotel staff... More

Really enjoyed our stay at this hotel... + We arrived at about 12 and despite check in not being until 3pm, our room was ready! This was great as it meant we could drop our stuff off and get out into the city! + the staff were great - so friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. I'd like to... More

The Andante looks great on the surface, and the facilities are great but what the staff at the Andante do not understand is that you want to feel welcome at the place you're staying, especially when you're paying a pretty penny for it. This hotel felt almost like a prison with all their rules and lack of accommodation from staff.... More

Staying in El Raval

Neighborhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
