My husband stayed at this hostel May 2015 and got his laptop stolen. Which wouldn't necessarily create a bad review however the manager was uninterested. The laptop was stolen out of a locked locker. The CCTV wasn't switched on and the management weren't helpful at all. The access code to the hostel wasn't changed regularly either so previous 'guests' would... More

A nice cosy hostel for people of young ages and old. The location is key, right in city centre. The wi-fi works but isn´t strong. The beds are fine. The workers are pleasent and friendly and speak english. The stairs are a pain to climb when coming in from a long night, and if in the wrong room you could... More

This hostel is awesome if you want a place to enjoy the real Barcelona. Is near Ramblas and Gotic Bairro, we can walk easily and without problems. The owner and the employers are very nice and prestative.

Overall I have mixed feelings about this place. The owner was a guy who is as Spanish as they get, and talked in some mix of English and Spanish. He's supposed to be at the reception for most of the day but he rarely is. We once waited over 45 mins (while we even told him we'd be there), before... More

We paid 30€/person for 4 nights in one of Europes most famous cities. Price-performance-ratio is exellent. The Hostel is located close to Place Catalunya, so very central in the heart of Barcelona. Furthermore the staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms look cheap, are more or less clean, Bathrooms are ok, too. For this price you can not expect more.... More

I was remembering the good moments in Barcelona and decided to write the review recommending this hostel. The owner and staff are very helpful people and worried about attending well to people. I felled in house really and the neighbourhood is good for going around being near almost everything. Hope to be there soon. Thanks.

It's cheap, the location is just perfect, the staff is really nice, friendly and helpful, there is free wifi and lockers. The room was very spacious, there was quite a lot of noise from the streets but I guess you can't expect anything else given the fact that you are in the centre of Barcelona! The showers and toillets were... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
