We are just back from this hotel and were very disappointed. The room was tiny, there was water dripping from the ceiling which we did report and also no working light in the bathroom. Inside at the reception there was nowhere to sit which is basic for a 3* Hotel. I would definately stay clear of the Ronda!

Just returned from spending two nights at the hotel. Prior to our holiday I had a few questions which were answered promptly via email by hotel staff. However struggled a little to find the hotel after getting off the airport bus. (Which I was impressed with €5.90 per person) We arrived prior to check in and were able to leave... More

Just come back from a 3 night stay at Hotel Ronda, and felt the need to write a review as some of the bad reviews were putting me off, but after lots of searching Hotel Ronda came up with what I was after, which was central location and reasonably priced, so I decided to ignore the bad reviews and go... Just returned from a fantastic 3 days in this amazing city. This hotel is in the perfect location. Short walk from Las Ramblas, and the Gothic area. Metro and bus tours close by so you can get to all the sites. Hotel was basic, comfortable beds, and breakfast was alright. Although we had to check out of the room by... More

Having just returned from a week in Barcelona I felt the urge to do something I've never done before, write a review. Staff were very helpful on our (early) arrival and check-in was not a problem. Great location, a few minutes walk from La Rambla and various main plazas with great transport links across the city. Breakfast was included in... More

Our room card would not work when we arrived back at hotel on our last evening. After getting a replacement card from reception, we got ready to go out for a few hours. We took cash out with us and left the rest in a locked suitcase as the safe was broken. No other room was available during our stay.... More

I stayed here last week after booking a last minute getaway, what a disappointment! I'll start with the pros: The main if not only redeeming feature was the location, other than that we arrived early and were able to check in straight away. The cons however are lengthy: 1 of the 2 lights over the bed didn't work which is... More

In June/2014 I went to Barcelona and stayed at Ronda Hotel, c/ Sant Erasm, 19 (Pl. del Pes de la Palla) and to my horror I had all my money stolen from the safe in my bedroom. Another family staying there had the same bad luck. On my arrival I asked if I could use the hotel safe but I... More

spent 4 nights with my son at the Ronda hotel. Warm welcome at the reception, rooms are ok what do you expect for a 3 star hotel, room was clean. It is true that the breakfast could be far improved, bacon too salty and no fried egg only scambled eggs for the price i cannot complain

Staying in El Raval

Neighborhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
