It's very clean and in good location hotel. Close to metro and to most tourist attractions. Very comfortable bed but not good view through the window :) Breakfast was good. Receptionists very friendly and helpful.

Booked for a 2 night football trip for 13 middle aged blokes. We were slightly unsure given the very variable reviews but for a basic hotel in the centre of Bracelona it was great. The staff are fantastic-friendly & helpful-the rooms are basic but very clean & functional (cleaned every day)-bathroom spotless-breakfast excellent-free wifi The hotel is well postioned for transport... Went to Barcelona to visit son .Found hotel to be in a good location for transport links, subway 5 mins, and within walking distance to museums , shopping streets and main squares. Airport bus stop about 5-10 mins walk from hotel. Close to Las Ramblas and Cathedral and some of Gaudi's houses. Placa Catalunya 10-15 walk which is the pick... More

Ok, I've been here between March 21-25 Year 2002 and I figured that as I expected. Despite the short time, I realized that is good for general tourism and veru good 4 longbow (or long range) school trips. SORRY for the photos but Twelve Years ago I hadn't a digital camera uet in order to publish pics! I've been here... More

Average hotel in a pretty decent location. Breakfast buffet wasn't bad for the price of room and breakfast. The room smelt quite funky while we were there but luckily we were only there to sleep. Great place for quick trips and u don't intend to be in the hotel room long

We are just back from this hotel and were very disappointed. The room was tiny, there was water dripping from the ceiling which we did report and also no working light in the bathroom. Inside at the reception there was nowhere to sit which is basic for a 3* Hotel. I would definately stay clear of the Ronda!

Staying in El Raval

Neighborhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
