spent 4 nights with my son at the Ronda hotel. Warm welcome at the reception, rooms are ok what do you expect for a 3 star hotel, room was clean. It is true that the breakfast could be far improved, bacon too salty and no fried egg only scambled eggs for the price i cannot complain

We checked in on August 5th 2014 for a 7 night stay. We checked out on August 5th 2014. Yep, you read that right, and after only an hour or so, too. This place is a dive. It's not a hotel. It's a block of lousy bedsits. It wasn't (by any stretch of any imagination, even Stephen King's) what I,... More

Our grade went on a 4-day class trip in May to Barcelona and we spent the nights in this hotel. It is basically hidden in a really poor street and the first thing you smell is sewage and a hint of 'grass'. Inside, at the reception, it smelled worse. It was a mix between rotten eggs, some sort of alcohol... More

Standard, no-frills, two-star hotel, very clean, generous buffet breakfast, helpful staff. It has an excellent location for public transportation, catty corner to the well-loved Moritz Beer Brewery and cafe, a 10 minute walk to Placa de Cataluna and the Ramblas, near the airport bus "universitad" stop. Underground parking entails an extra fee. WiFi is free in the public areas, not... More

We were amazed to find that Hotel Ronda, unlike every other hotel/hostel in Europe, did not have free Wifi. On principle we decided not to pay, but this meant trudging 10 minutes down to Plaza Catalunya to use the Wifi at McDonalds. Besides this, the AC never really worked so the room was pretty warm in the evenings. The breakfast... More

Well this was a memory I like to forget as soon as possible. The room was absolutely awful and worst of all the room and the hallway smell Sewage from several bathrooms. We ask the staff to at least give us other rooms but the refused and it just got worst. We had to leave and find another hotel.

Great location if you don't mind a 15 minute walk to las rambles through the back streets of the city, i didn't mind this though as there are plenty of bars and shops on the way to stop in. Hotel reception staff were vert helpful and spoke/understood good english. Rooms were basic but most importantly they were cleaned every day.... More

This hotel is ideal for a city break - excellent location/service. Breakfast was very basic but got what we expected for the price. - One tip on the directions to the hotel - don't get confused with this and the Ronda Hotel in Lesseps we printed off the directions and ended up in a totally different location. Get the aerobus... More

The location of the hotel is really excellent - it's suitably close to the heart of the city but yet in a quiet area. There are loads of truly excellent restaurants within a radius of a few hundred meters. The room was OK, although you could hear people talking in the room next door. The bed was uncomfortable, but the... More
