The Ronda suited us very well, being situated near to restaurants, metro, hop on hop off bus to visit attractions. The staff, we found, to be very friendly and helpful. There is a good selection for breakfast. The rooms are small but clean.

My friend and I stayed at hotel Ronda for three nights (June 21st – June 24th 2015). When we first arrived at the hotel we weren’t expecting much having read some of the horrendous reviews on trip advisor which almost caused me to cancel our trip. We got a taxi from the airport to right outside the front doors of... More

Staff were extremely rude, rooms are dirty and unfresh, hotel view outside was nothing but some drainage pipes, air conditioning did not work at all it was very hot and moist. Called room service numerous times but they did nothing in 3 days. None of my friends staying here had a comfortable sleep. Location is average about a 15minute walk... More

Here are the pros and cons regarding this hotel with my points out of 10 Pros: - Central location ( 8 / 10 ) - Friendly staff ( 7 / 10 ) - Clean rooms ( 7 / 10 ) Cons: - Old furniture and minor leaks - i.e. our toilet was leaking constantly and the hotel staff couldn't fix... More

Very disappointed with our room , it had no view other than the drainage pipes and electricity box through the bathroom window that had bars on it! Having no means of outside air or light meant it was dark. Every time anyone flushed the loo or used the sink/shower in their rooms it echo'd around ours. Bathroom was dirty ,... More

I guess it was decent for a budget hotel. And the location was good. But first when I got there, a bit earlier than check in time, they just said no I couldn't check in without just seeing if my room was ready, which is what most hotels do. The comfort of the room was okay, but was not soundproof... More

Staff was very friendly and helpful, everything we asked or wanted was not a problem. It's a great hotel for tourist who just need a place... More

Booked for a 2 night football trip for 13 middle aged blokes. We were slightly unsure given the very variable reviews but for a basic hotel in the centre of Bracelona it was great. The staff are fantastic-friendly & helpful-the rooms are basic but very clean & functional (cleaned every day)-bathroom spotless-breakfast excellent-free wifi The hotel is well postioned for transport... Staying in El Raval

Neighborhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
