My boyfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights. It was a shame that they only had twin rooms available even though when we booked it said 'double room'. Despite this, it was very good value for money. The location was great, the private bathrooms were spacious, which is very unlike any other hostel, usually it is shared, or you... More

Being a hostel with ensuite bathroom, this is definitely good value for money. The location is very good, very near Las Ramblas and Placa Real. The room size is big for a hostel with basic furniture like a table, chair and closet. Bathroom supply is quite scarce though. Not even a whole toilet paper and just one plastic cup and... More

This is a very basic hostel however it was super clean, the staff were really friendly and helpful and its in a great location - easy to get around and orientate yourself. Lots of good places to eat and drink in the area and super close to Plaza Real for those nights you feel like hitting the dancefloor! They also... More

Hostel is located in the center. Neat and clean, towels are changed every day. Very helpful staff. For a tour of the city of Barcelona do not need transport and metro and bus is very close. Offer restaurant nearby is excellent.

This is a 1 star hostal. It's clean, good location and very helpful and friendly staff. Nothing is too much trouble. There is no fone in the room but I asked for an early call and they actually came and knocked on the door at 6am as requested. Our room was very basic but it was clean and it was... More

This was a great find, the location was excellent just a couple of minutes to La Rambla and metro stations. It is hard to find if you don't have a good map so invest in one. You can't get a taxi all the way either, you can get close and then you must walk. Bear this in mind as many... More

My girlfriend found this hotel and at first I wondered what she had selected. The reception were friendly and really helpful. We could store our baggage before we checked in and having checked out. The rooms are basic but absolutely fine. Ok size. Clean with free wifi. There is a lift to the floors.

We stayed 3 nights and everything was okay. Rooms were clean and the staff was quite friedly. Rooms are small but big enough, I think. Our fligh was very early so we had to leave at night. So we did have a litle problems in paying and cheking out. The person at the concierge desk had problems with paying machine... More

Staying in Barrio Gotico (Barri Gotic)

Neighborhood Profile
Barrio Gotico (Barri Gotic)
With its iconic, old-Europe streets and alleys, this picturesque neighborhood is the very heart of Barcelona. It blends historic artifacts from its days under Roman dominion up through the Spanish Civil War with a vibrant modern-day culture of artisan shops and authentic culinary experiences. Avid explorers will be thrilled to discover quaint terraces and plazas brought to life by the many small bars and local musicians lasting late into the night. Fashionistas will be drawn to Portal de L’Angel, which is lined with well-known brand names and smaller boutique stands.
