Hostel Levante is probably one of the few hotels, in the heart of the city, that is very affordable. It is basic but most importantly clean, and just a stone's throw from La Ramblas. It offers great value for money, and I certainly would go back for a third time to stay ;) more

The Hostal Levante is a clean basic hotel. The beds were very comfortable and my room was usually quiet. Except for one night and that was due to a really drunk hotal guest. more

We (two german couples 43-54 years old) have been there from 21.11.07 to 24.11.07 - 3 nights. Its a nice basic hostal very close to the Plaza Real and Ramblas. The rooms are small but clean , the beds are comfortable and there are doule-glass-windows you may close overnight. If not, of course you will hear the noise from outside... more

We had problem with finding hotel due to timing. So, we ended up reserving with Levante who confirmed our reservation, but then informed us of problem. No room left - so hotel offered to rent us one of their small apartments for rent. While my sister and her partner - first time to Europe - loved it, we hated it.... more

A last minute booking, what do you expect? Well more than what I got for my money that's for sure. The rooms were freezing, yes yes, someone was going to put the heater on...in December. It was so noisy and that was on the inside and the staff were indifferent (was I in France instead?).Not recommended even for last minute.... more
