Myself and my boyfriend stayed here for 4 night last week and throughly enjoyed ourselves. The service offered was excellent as the staff were very informative and helpful with all our queries. The room was of pristine cleanliness and the rood top pool offered a comfortable relaxing space to enjoy the sun. The only thing I would say negatively about... More

Very nice and clean. Quiet area but only few minutes walk to plaza España and to Sants station. A lot of small coffee shops around and good home made food restaurants like "Casa Martelo". The staff was very friendly an efficient especially Alexandra that helped us a lot. I defiantly will come back to this hotel.

The hotel is ideally located within walking distance to the Plaza de Espana and only a short taxi ride to other major areas in the city. The hotel offers a nice breakfast buffet and Wi-Fi is great. This hotel was ideal for my one person business trip, but rooms will not fit much more than one person. Rooms are clean... More

The room was spotless throughout and the service was superb! I will definitely be using this hotel when I next come to Barcelona. The room was clean and modern, its a great base for visiting the city. The only thing I could find wrong is the cost of breakfast, it is expensive however it is optional so I chose not... More

The Catalonia Roma is a very average hotel but that's not really a bad thing, is it? Near the train station, there isn't much charm and you have to be vigilant with your belongings but it's easy enough to get around using the train/metro system. Front desk staff was friendly and the public areas were nice enough. We had a... More

I come to Barcelona quite often because of work (within a year I stayed in this hotel about 15 times). I love it and would not change it for anything else. It is close to the main train station Barcelona Sants and metro stop, from which you get in 10 minutes to the "turistic" part of the city. In the... More

This was the last stop on our intrepid tour and would have to say it was very underwhelming. I had to stay an extra night so I booked a room to myself. The room wasn't even on a proper floor and when I got to the room it was like a shoebox. Very very small and could hardly fit my... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
