The hotel has an excellent location in the city center, but I would advise you to choose another hotel, because the furniture in the room was very basic and old. Barcelona is a stunning city. I'm thinking that for a holiday with your family you could find at a better hotel.

This hostal is so convenient to La Rambla and the Liceu Metro stop. The Staff all spoke English and were extremely accomodating and helpful. It's simple, clean, and a very good value.

Only a few minutes' walk from La Rambla, this hostal's location is one of the best things about it. It's clean, the staff is helpful, and it's not expensive. However, it is VERY basic--the beds are dorm beds and the walls are paper-thin (take earplugs--the street is noisy).

The hostel is 100 meters down a side street of the Ramblas, very near La Boqueria (market). The neighborhood is not the best Barcelona has to offer, but you don't have to get in too deep.. Perfect place if you are on a budget. It's clean and just 3 mins walk to La Rambla. TV channels are only in Spanish, no fridge and no lifts.
