We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in April 2014. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. The hotel is in a residential area, a block from the Metro (very easy metro system to navigate even if you don't speak Spanish) or a 10-20 minute walk to many tourist areas (like La Rambla). There are at least 2 mini-mart... More

We travelled in a group of 5, 4 adults and 1 7yr old. We had 2 apartments. Great location, outside of the hectic centre but within 15 mins of everything via metro. Between €40 and €50 taxi fare from the airport and 30 min journey. Lovely friendly staff who will help point you in any direction you want. Accommodation is... More

For any variety of reasons, I chose Barcelona as the first European vacation spot for my 15 year old son. I could not have picked a better place to stay than these suites! They are located in the Eixample barrio, which is very safe and centrally located. Though sometimes it was a healthy walking distance, everything was in walking distance.... More

We stayed for a week in Barcelona at the Acacia Suites hotel. Our suite had a bedroom, living room/dining room/kitchenette, with a tiny breakfast table, and a bathroom (we liked the bathtub). The apartment was well appointed and comfortable. The daily maid service included washing of the dishes. The TV set in the bedroom was adequate and had some problems... More

The Acacia Suites are located in a more residential area and not right in the thick of the tourist attractions which we appreciated. It felt very safe walking around the area and it was only a 15 minute walk to the Placa de Catalunya or there was a metro stop on the next block. The room was spacious and very... More

My husband and I stayed at the Acacia for two nights in 2007, and three times during this past summer with family, including a baby. We had three separate rooms, with a crib was provided as well. The area is minutes away from several very good neighborhood restaurants, access to the metro is a block away, and if you enjoy... More

Stayed for 5 nights during La Merce festival, room and facilities were great, huge bathroom and friendly helpful staff. Not a great location....more of a locals neighbourhood than a tourist spot. It takes 20 mins to get anywhere by Metro. The room we got was poor (we are 2 adults, 3 kids).....room was cramped...bathroom just adequate..and we had very noisy neighbours. Room facilities just ok. There are some good neighbourhood restaurants...but you could say that about anywhere in Barcelona.... More

We are a family of 5, with 3 small children. The girls were able to share the sofa bed and were quite comfortable. The hotel is staffed 24 hours a day and they are very friendly and helpful.
