The hotel has a fantastic location in Las Ramblas with a Metro stop right across the street. Rooms vary in sizes from very small to larger rooms with high ceilings and balconies facing Las Ramblas. They were clean with comfortable beds. Breakfast was simple. Wi-Fi went down every night I was there until morning time with one of the days... More

This hotel is just great. Great location on La Ramblas, right next to a Metro station. Rooms are basic but have everything you need. Clean with daily housekeeping service. Our room was overlooking the street which is busy all the time but we had no issue with noise. Free bottles of water in the fridge on each floor was a... More

We stayed here for a long weekend in February and it was everything that we needed. Staying right in the heart of la ramblas, the location is perfect. You are also only about a 10 minute walk away from the sea front and beaches. There was a small balcony in our room which we could go out onto to get... More

We had a flying birthday visit to Barcelona, the hotel was central to the Gothic area and perfect for sight seeing. The room was spotless and had a lovely little balcony so we could take in the atmosphere. We had the budget room, but it had a lovely clean bathroom, plenty of towels and a little TV. Breakfast was served... More

In The middle of La Ramblas, just by Liceu metro station. 24/7 reception. Nice and helpful staff. Think it's a big difference with the quality of the rooms. Mine was very small and had just a half-foot wide window towards a combined elevator and ventilation shaft. The door to the hallway was paper thin, lucky me living at the end... More

Great Hotel for the price with must have location. Breakfast was just right and the room was basic but we were only there to sleep. Would highly recommend. Early walk to old town and sea front as well as to the main bus and coach station. Metro out side.

Located in the middle of the Ramblas, opposite the Opera House and next to a metro station. Our room was quite small and had twin beds. It was on the corner of the hotel and had a views of the Ramblas, the Umbrella building and an alley into the Gothic Quarter. The shutters did squeak a little on one windy... More

Stayed there for a week and also had an upgrade. The room was a very small internal room and the shower was faulty. We were able to move to another room no problem. The reception were very helpful. The hotel is in super location with a metro stop outside the door. My only criticism of the room was that there... More

Four of us had a 5 day Barcelona break, booking 2 rooms through lowcostholidays.com. Upon arrival we almost walked past the entrance it was so understated and once inside we wondered if we had made a good choice as the reception was basic and badly lit. The receptionist informed us that both rooms had been upgraded for free to a... More

Staying in La Rambla

Neighborhood Profile
La Rambla
Barcelona's most famous street was once a dry riverbed. Now, La Rambla is a 1200-meter boulevard, and a major draw for visitors. During the day, La Rambla fills with pedestrians, some of which stroll past impressive human statues and artists while others take a break to people-watch while enjoying a drink at one of the many terraces. Housed here is the iconic Boqueria Market that offers one of the most varied and appetizing selections of local produce and specialty meats and treats. While it’s important for tourists to keep an eye on their belongings at all times, this area is most safely explored in the daytime and is a must see for everyone who visits.
