Perfect location. In front of the hotel there is a metro stop and several bus stops. The hostel is on the ramblas, our room was in the back so the noise wasn't to bad during the night. Barri gotic is a nice area to walk, shop, eat and drink. Friendly staff.

I agree with every other review about this hotel, the location is perfect. My wife and I went with our children and their partners aged between 21 and 26. We had 3 rooms, 2 were a good size with good size bathrooms, the 3rd was quite small with a small bathroom. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. We had... More

As you can see nearly every other review on tripadvisor, the location for this hotel is just perfect! It is right on La Rambla with a metro station just outside. As a family of four we had one double room and one twin room, both with en suites. The rooms were fairly stylish, a good size and were cleaned every... More

We stayed as a couple for our wedding anniversary. As others have said, excellent location on the ramblas, next to liceu metro and as you walk up the ramblas from catalunya look for the joan miro mosaic in the middle of the pavement, stop here, this marks the location of the hotel which has a small entrance in the shops... This hotel is right on the Las ramblas, very clean and we'll presented, the only fault I have is if your going to book it, make sure you upgrade to a room that faces the Las ramblas street, the room we had didn't have a windows, only a patio door that didn't do anything for fresh air, in the height... Lovely hotel directly on Las Ramblas right by metro station, hotel staff sorted out problem with room efficiently offering a free upgrade. Breakfast lovely and plentiful. No mini bar or safe in room however you can use the reception safe - free bottles of water on each floor.

We stayed here for a weekend. The location was the reason we chose the hotel, we could not have been any more central to the best of Barcelona. The hotel is in the middle of La Rambla right behind the Gothic quarter. It is surrounded by restaurants bars and incredible architecture. The hotel itself was clean, modern, stylish and the... Just back from a wonderful few days in Barcelona. This Hotel is ideally situated right in the middle of Las Ramblas with the Metro Station right outside the door. Great location for exploring the city. We had a Suite on the 3rd floor overlooking Las Ramblas and the room was fairly large. We had twin beds, 2 wardrobes, 2 bathrooms... More

Started badly as we thought we should have a fridge and safe in our room, but reception staff very helpful and despite no fridge or safe, we were upgraded to deluxe rooms free of charge. Safe at reception for keeping valuables, no trouble to do that. Breakfasts good, with plenty of choice. Location fantastic right by metro station on La... More

This hotel is a little gem, it has a great location opposite the Opera House and in the Gothic district! We had the suite on the 4th floor, there was a lovely roof terrace where there was seating available to sit up there and enjoy a coffee or wine. Our room was nice but there was no tea/coffee making facilities,... More

Staying in Barrio Gotico (Barri Gotic)

Neighborhood Profile
Barrio Gotico (Barri Gotic)
With its iconic, old-Europe streets and alleys, this picturesque neighborhood is the very heart of Barcelona. It blends historic artifacts from its days under Roman dominion up through the Spanish Civil War with a vibrant modern-day culture of artisan shops and authentic culinary experiences. Avid explorers will be thrilled to discover quaint terraces and plazas brought to life by the many small bars and local musicians lasting late into the night. Fashionistas will be drawn to Portal de L’Angel, which is lined with well-known brand names and smaller boutique stands.
