We stayed here for 3 nights. Perfect if you want a central hotel as somewhere to get your head down after a hard days exploring. Very friendly reception staff. Adequate room and awesome location. Easy for hop on/off bus tour near amazing restaurants. Breakfast was nice although it took us a while to work out how to use the coffee... More

Despite its rather bizarre name, this is a rather good hotel if you are visiting Barcelona and want a central location from which to explore. Situated in the middle of Las Ramblas, it is a trifle on the utilitarian side but it offers precisely what it claims to be, a reasonably priced traveller's hotel. The rooms are smallish but if... Having read some of the reviews of this hotel, I must admit I was skeptical about what to expect when arriving. When we arrived we were greeted by a very nice receptionist ( Short Dark Hair) who was very friendly. We had two rooms booked, one was ready when we arrived which was a nice surprise as it was only... More

Don't be put off by the bad reviews for this hotel.Stayed last week for 2 nights and was pleasantly suprised by the standard. Situated on La Ramblas, its a great location! Yes, the rooms are small but perfectly adequate for a short stay. Plenty of wardrobe space, and very comfortable beds, also good wifi connection in room.Bathroom was quite spacious, the... More

This hotel is in a great central location on the Ramblas - Its very basic - Rooms are VERY basic and small. Requested a double got 2 single beds pushed together! Nice breakfast room - Basic Breakfast, but OK. Rooms in front tend to be very noisy. I would not return to this hotel.

My family and stayed there for 4 nights ( Nov 6-10). Pros: - Location wise it was perfect, its centrally located in La Rambla where all the tourist attraction is - breakfast is goo and pleasant. Now for the cons: - the rooms does not have any English channel cable TV, they insisted that they only provide local channel which... More

Pros: - Great location! It was just along La Rambla. - Breakfast spread - Room was big enough - Place was clean - Cool decorations in the dining area/"restaurant" - Spacious bathroom - Free all-you-can-take bottled water - They had a giant Nespresso machine Cons: - Bad wifi signal and connection - Extremely bad beds; they were wobbly and they... The hotel is located centrally, and this is why I chose it. Staff wasn't proactively giving information. If I hadn't read about the free bottles of water on this site, I would never have know. What's up with that? Plus, when I asked about breakfast, I was told it was 8 euros if I paid before eating, but 13 euros... More

This hotel was worth every penny, it was booked for my boyfriends birthday present for 2 nights room only and was a perfect decision. It is in the heart of Las Ramblas where the vibe and atmosphere is amazing, you can't get a better location. It is slightly noisy but what do people expect when your in the most central... More

Staying in La Rambla

Neighborhood Profile
La Rambla
Barcelona's most famous street was once a dry riverbed. Now, La Rambla is a 1200-meter boulevard, and a major draw for visitors. During the day, La Rambla fills with pedestrians, some of which stroll past impressive human statues and artists while others take a break to people-watch while enjoying a drink at one of the many terraces. Housed here is the iconic Boqueria Market that offers one of the most varied and appetizing selections of local produce and specialty meats and treats. While it’s important for tourists to keep an eye on their belongings at all times, this area is most safely explored in the daytime and is a must see for everyone who visits.
