We stayed here over the past weekend and thought the apartment was stunning. It truly gives you a sense of older Barcelona. David greeted us and was very friendly and helpful. The apartment is in the perfect location, the right distance from Les Ramblas and all the cool bars and restaurants we wanted to visit. The bedroom was really pretty,... More

Came here for few days break from UK. Great service from cleaner as in wen we went out we came back and found rooms tidy. No windows in room apart from a covered window behind curtain but we was only there to sleep so not fussed. Great view from balcony looking down to other hotel yards. Wud stay again if... More

This so called "guest house" is just a bad joke; if not to call them scammer!! İt is an abondoned flat on the 2.nd floor of a building that you could hardly find, if you can see the small plate on the buildings door. I can't take it as a bad coincidence, there was no electricity in the building,(becouse of... More

Before we book we always research hotel information carefully, so we were dismayed when we arrived to find shared bathrooms. Information about the shared bathrooms was not on the hotel's own site & was buried in small print on booking.com (not in the prominent spot where it usually is), and was easy to overlook. In addition, one must walk through... More

While this guest house is well placed at the top of las Ramblas, well priced and has been renovated in a great way, I have to say I was shocked, shocked, shocked to have been given a room with NO WINDOWS! As I was travelling alone, it seemed that the owner opted to give the better rooms to couples. It... More

Upon our arrival we were given a room at one of David and Ana's other B&Bs, located on Passeig de Gracia. In my opinion, this one is in a much better location than the one on Placa de Catalunya because it's much closer to all of the Guadi's work and we felt completely safe there (in the neighborhood) which can't... My husband and I stayed in this wonderful guest house for three nights in October 2013. A beautifully restored apartment just yards from Placa de Catalunya, and within walking distance of all the main attractions, just a perfect location! David, Ana and Javier were just lovely, and extremely helpful with excellent English! A beautiful stylish clean room with a lovely... More

We didn't stay at the Bcn AM but were given a room at another of David and Ana's B&B on Passeig de Gracia, after discussing through several emails. The area is so nice, and so convenient. The metro (Diagonal station) is just a minute-walk away, and with that station, it's easy to go to La Sagrada Familia, Park Guell, Placa... More

We did not stay at the B&B but at two of the other properties David owns. The first was a one bedroom at Las Ramblas, 100 which was a GREAT location, a little noisy from traffic (like anywhere in the city) and quite nice with places to eat and great shopping all around as well as metro stations. I felt... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
