This hotel does look a little run down in the lobby but the rooms are wonderfully comfortable and it is so central to everything you'll want to see. We frequently travel in and out of Barcelona to the US - the hotel is a cab ride from the airport, as well as from the central train station but so is... More

It's an old looking hotel but has a very comfortable bed and very central to everything. Hotel staff very helpful. Hotel located in between 2 metro stations ang a few steps away from La Boquira market. There is a nice restaurant just at the back of the hotel which is recommended by the receptionist. Just beware of pick pocketers in... More

Stayed here the first weekend of Dec - I had a small, basic single room...perfect for me as I just needed somewhere to rest my head after walking miles round Barcelona. Flew into airport, caught the bus then a 10min walk down La Rambla, we arrived at 1am and the receptionist was friendly and got us quickly checked in. Room... More

Staying here situated on La Rambla in Barcelona two star budget hotel staff great and helpful , rooms basic but clean. There must be 80 restaurants within half a mile, and so many shops also, great for a city weekend break

My husband and I are frequent, no frills travels. This hotel was perfect for us. It was very easy to find from the Drassanes metro stop. We arrived early and were able to check into our room early. The concierge asked us if we had a preference which way our room was facing and we chose one not facing the... More

Excellent location within the "busy" area of Barcelona with all the great restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. Public transport (the Metro) is nearby as is some of the older sites such as the Barric Gothic area. The hotel is clean and the facilities and breakfast are very good. The staff are friendly and helpful. This is really good... More

Stopped over for a three night city break. We found the hotel location to be superb as on stepping out the front door we were immediately consumed by the throngs in Las Rambla. Had a room on the side of the hotel which unfortunately was over the passageway to Placa Reial which although closed as a thoroughfare at night still... More

To find a hotel right on Las Ramblas for this price was excellent. Yes, the hotel is old, and ripe for some updating, but the comfort and friendliness for us outweighed the odd worn carpet. The included breakfast was more than adequate, with no restrictions on how much consumed, and our rooms at the back of the hotel were quiet... More

We stayed in this hotel in the first week of October. The location of this hotel is great, if you don't mind the endless crowd of La Ramblas. We walked to other attractions such as Barcelona Cathedral, Picasso Museum and Placa de Catalunya. Placa Reial is just behind the hotel, where we had tapas and drinks in the evenings. It... More

We chose this hotel through trip advisor and its location to the cruiseport. Look its not fancy but its good value and located on La Rambla. We walked from the cruiseport easy. And we walked to the airport bus on Plaza Catalunya as well. So location spot on. The staff were really helpful and friendly. Buenas Dias Xavier! The rooms... More

Staying in La Rambla

Neighborhood Profile
La Rambla
Barcelona's most famous street was once a dry riverbed. Now, La Rambla is a 1200-meter boulevard, and a major draw for visitors. During the day, La Rambla fills with pedestrians, some of which stroll past impressive human statues and artists while others take a break to people-watch while enjoying a drink at one of the many terraces. Housed here is the iconic Boqueria Market that offers one of the most varied and appetizing selections of local produce and specialty meats and treats. While it’s important for tourists to keep an eye on their belongings at all times, this area is most safely explored in the daytime and is a must see for everyone who visits.
