What a find this place is. The hotel is right on La Rambla and so close to two metro stations. We took the train from the airport which connected to the metro to Drassanes. Then a short work to our hotel. We had a large triple room with a small balcony overlooking La Rambla which was exceptionally clean. We knew... More

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights with my partner and our stay was very pleasant! When we arrived the man on the reception was very friendly and explained everything to us. We stayed in room 121, which was at the front of the building. We had a great view of la rambla and even a small balcony. The... More

My wife and I stayed in this family run hotel for two nights following a cruise. it is a very short distance from the cruise shuttle bus drop off point. Also it is not to far, less than a 10 minute walk up to Plaza Catyluna where the aerobus leaves every 6 minutes for the airport for 6 euro each.... More

Stayed here for 1 night after a cruise before continuing on to Lisbon. Third visit to Barcelona. A beautiful and exciting city. Hotel is a short Taxi from the port (15+ Euro) If you get there early morning they will stow your luggage but the room may not be ready until noon (better than 3:00!!) In the meantime stroll the... We were very pleased with this hotel. It was good value for money. It was very clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, it was comfortable and in an excellent central location . Take some earplugs if you are a light sleeper - you're on La Rambla for goodness sake! Couldn't fault it.

The hotel is perfectly located on La Rambla, about a 5 min walk from Dressanes Metro station and a 15 min walk from Pl Catalunya (Where the Aerobus drops off and picks up). Perfect for exploring the city of Barcelona. Room size was good and very clean. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was cosy but functional. Shower was great (Powerful).... More

Staying in La Rambla

Neighborhood Profile
La Rambla
Barcelona's most famous street was once a dry riverbed. Now, La Rambla is a 1200-meter boulevard, and a major draw for visitors. During the day, La Rambla fills with pedestrians, some of which stroll past impressive human statues and artists while others take a break to people-watch while enjoying a drink at one of the many terraces. Housed here is the iconic Boqueria Market that offers one of the most varied and appetizing selections of local produce and specialty meats and treats. While it’s important for tourists to keep an eye on their belongings at all times, this area is most safely explored in the daytime and is a must see for everyone who visits.
