Had another nice stay at this 2 star hotel but this time for a week, rather than a long weekend. For a bed and breakfast in the heart of the main drag (at the Ramblas del Mar end) you really would have to go a long way to beat it. The breakfast is typical of the Med. There are cereals,... More

This hotel was great value, is located on la Rambla and is within walking distance of a great number of the city's attractions. There are also metro stations within a short walk. Our room was clean, had air con and en-suite. The staff were super and did everything to make the stay enjoyable. Being located in the old centre with... More

My daughter and I stayed in this hotel last weekend. It is perfectly located on Las Rambles within easy distance to the Port and close to the metro. The room was more than adequate, clean and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. Although quite dated if you are just looking for somewhere to sleep this is ideal and I... More

This is a great wonderful hotel right on Las Ramblas. Closer to the water than Placa Catalunya. Front office staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and breakfast was good but then I'm not much of a breakfast person. Room was larger compared to other hotels I have stayed while in Barcelona. Could get noisy if facing Las... More

So, It was my first time at a 2 star hotel and no regrets! Location is great, near Plaza de Espanha. Very good location at the street ' las ramblas'? You take like 30 m walk to the beach just in case you are interested. If you like zero noise just choose a room to the back, you don't need... More

We selected this hotel because of the good reviews. The hotel is very clean and the people working there are nice and polite. I asked ahead of time for a quiet room in the back of the hotel to not be on the Las Ramblas and they gave us one in the back on level 3. Well, this room had... More

This hotel lays in the main street in Barcelona. You are only a walk from shopping and the beach. About the hotel: it was Ok. The breakfast was ok and the staff who worked there was happy to help you. The negative side was that it was a little bit dirty. I think they cleaned the room everyday, but it... More

This was quite a find as we booked very late and weren't expecting much. The staff were very courteous, friendly and welcoming. The room, which had a large balcony, was ideal for our trip, and surprisingly quiet, given the location. The hotel has an an interesting display off the breakfast area with photos and newspaper articles about a variety of people... More

What a find this place is. The hotel is right on La Rambla and so close to two metro stations. We took the train from the airport which connected to the metro to Drassanes. Then a short work to our hotel. We had a large triple room with a small balcony overlooking La Rambla which was exceptionally clean. We knew... More

Staying in La Rambla

Neighborhood Profile
La Rambla
Barcelona's most famous street was once a dry riverbed. Now, La Rambla is a 1200-meter boulevard, and a major draw for visitors. During the day, La Rambla fills with pedestrians, some of which stroll past impressive human statues and artists while others take a break to people-watch while enjoying a drink at one of the many terraces. Housed here is the iconic Boqueria Market that offers one of the most varied and appetizing selections of local produce and specialty meats and treats. While it’s important for tourists to keep an eye on their belongings at all times, this area is most safely explored in the daytime and is a must see for everyone who visits.
