My wife and I stayed for a long weekend for my birthday on 01/02/15 for 3 nights. The weather was freezing cold [it snowed on one day] but the room had heating, which had been thoughtfully switched on for our arrival. The room, including the bathroom was comfortable and clean. Free wi fi and a flat screen tv gave added... More

We had a room facing Las Ramblas. Was lovely to just stand at the balcony and enjoy the feel of the city. Was also a short walk from the metro so very convenient. Loads of eateries, shops and supermarkets around. Walk-able from Placa Catalunya too (about 10min) Is quite noisy 24*7 though (if you have a room facing Las Ramblas).... More

This hotel is in a perfect location, in the midle of Las Ramblas! When I walked in the receptionists were sofriendly and we felt really welcomed. They gave us our keys and we went up the evelvator. There is a long corridor and the rooms are long and thin and quite small. However we did geta balcony and big windows.... More

We loved our stay in Barcelona at the Cuatro naciones, perfectly located on la rambla you are right in the middle of everything. The hotel itself is a little bit dated but the room was functional and the bed was very comfy, although could do with better pillows. The free WiFi worked well, and the breakfast was satisfactory. We got... More

This hotel is in the best possible location for exploring Barcelona. It's right in the centre of La Rambla and I couldn't really believe the price could be son reasonable. It's right next to one of the main squares, and opposite is an excellent flamenco bar/restaurant (the hotel will book this for you). I'm not sure whether they served breakfast... More

This hotel does look a little run down in the lobby but the rooms are wonderfully comfortable and it is so central to everything you'll want to see. We frequently travel in and out of Barcelona to the US - the hotel is a cab ride from the airport, as well as from the central train station but so is... More

It's an old looking hotel but has a very comfortable bed and very central to everything. Hotel staff very helpful. Hotel located in between 2 metro stations ang a few steps away from La Boquira market. There is a nice restaurant just at the back of the hotel which is recommended by the receptionist. Just beware of pick pocketers in... More

Staying in La Rambla

Neighborhood Profile
La Rambla
Barcelona's most famous street was once a dry riverbed. Now, La Rambla is a 1200-meter boulevard, and a major draw for visitors. During the day, La Rambla fills with pedestrians, some of which stroll past impressive human statues and artists while others take a break to people-watch while enjoying a drink at one of the many terraces. Housed here is the iconic Boqueria Market that offers one of the most varied and appetizing selections of local produce and specialty meats and treats. While it’s important for tourists to keep an eye on their belongings at all times, this area is most safely explored in the daytime and is a must see for everyone who visits.
