Steps from the las Ramblas and directly across from the Palau Guell, you are in Gaudi country here for sure. We were first given a room downstairs which seemed subterranean and had a very small double bed. When we said this would not do at all for my 6'5" husband, they were very gracious and happily changed our room to... More

The hotel has a very good location but it is a little bit old and the beds need o be changed. It is a small hotel near to the ramblas and it is easy to walkd. But the nights spent on those mattresses made my back to che with hard pains. They should change them Also the furniture to sit downstairs... More

Great location, very helpful staff, clean and comfortable rooms. We had a room facing the street and the door to the French balcony did a great job in cutting the street noise. We will definitely recommend and return. This is an excellent 3 Star hotel, if you want the Ritz, not so much you place. Kevin

Excellent location, a stone's throw from Las Ramblas, and right opposite the Palau Güell. Friendly staff. Although we had internal-facing room is was very quiet taken the how close it is to Las Ramblas. Clean room, comfortable bed, clean bathroom with nice amenities, air conditioning that worked well, and very good WIFI coverage throughout the hotel. The breakfast buffet is... More

Spent five nights here and were very pleased with location, staff, room and breakfast. Don't miss Sagrada Familia. Thought we'd seen the greatest churches in Europe' but this blew is away. The hotel was a 15 minute walk to the sea with it's lovely walkway.

Love the hotel! Friendly staff, PERFECT location, GREAT rooftop terrace and very clean! The location is only one block from La Rambla, the main spine through the center of Barcelona. Would not stay anywhere else in Barcelona and will stay here when I return!

Location- Perfect location, on the La Rambla. Rooms - The rooms are clean. The design is very basic but the size of the room and the bathroom is good. The bed is basic but fits to 3 star hotels. Great porch in the room. Breakfast- The breakfast is good. The hotel has a beautiful roof with nice sitting area to... More

I visited (and reviewed) this hotel last year, but I've just been back for another visit and it is just as good as it was. A great location just off the Ramblas and directly opposite the Palau Guell, with helpful and friendly staff. Of course the location is a bit 'edgy', and the staff do warn against pick pockets, but... More

Nice boutique hotel in the center of Las Ramblas. Great location to all the attractions, restaurants, and transportation. Hop On/Off bus & metro are close by as is the Baqueria (amazing place). Friendly hotel staff, very accommodating and helpful. We asked for a room on the quieter side of the hotel which was great because it can be noisy late... More

I did not like this hotel ,first of all it is not nice it is a bit ugly with average furniture ,toilet is from 80' years...they have some stupid rules like hotel terrace closes at 11 and you can not sit any more (by the way terrace is very unstable and I advice not to go there ,it seems it's... Staying in El Raval

Neighborhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
