Stay in this hotel for a balcony view of the Gaudi Palace rooftop with it's crazy chimneys. It is literally just off Las Ramblas with easy reach to all the main attractions of the city. We were treated to a rooftop concert at the Palace which we could see from our balcony. Ask for a balcony room on a high... More

Very nice and clean hotel. The bathroom was really really clean. Proximity to the Main Street and metro makes this hotel really good spot for tourists. We had nice drinks on the hotels terrace where you can admire city's view. Really recommended.

Nice hotel, well located in the heart of Barcelona in the Arc La Rambla street. the metro is very close and the area is safe. Rooms are very spacious & toilet is big. Enjoyed the service and the breakfast (more varieties are needed). The room was very clean and the staff is very helpful specially the reception. Definitely i recommend... More

We stayed in a family room for four during a two stay, the room was large and comfortable. The hotel itself is just of the Ramblas and the terrace bar and pool overlooks the roof of the Gaudi's Palau Guell. We enjoyed a fantastic Mojito overlooking the city whilst the boys played in the glass sided pool. We will be... More

The best thing about this hotel is the location. It is on a side road of the Ramblas, so only a two minutes walk of all the restaurants, nightlife and craziness of touristy Barcelona. Placa Catalunya (the main transport hub where the busses from the airport end) is a 15 minutes walk away and in 10 minutes you can walk... More

Great location just of les Ramblas. Easy to walk to the port area or to the centre. Lovely square on the opposite side of the Ramblas with loads of restaurants for dining. Breakfast in hotel was ok typical buffet.

Good location and a reasonable breakfast is about the only good things I can say about this hotel. Check in was suppose to be at 2pm, room wasn't available until 3pm. We were met by a rather grumpy staff member (Jesus) who wasn't pleasant to speak with at all. As for the room, the bed was two singles pushed together... More

Close to a lot of sights, service is good, could be better as I was met with a bit of attitude by one specific member of the staff at the reception but who knows, it might have been a bad day for the person. Though asking for a safe in the hotel room should not be met with a number... More

My second time staying in this hotel and I would go there again. Other reviews have covered all the points--staff is very friendly, rooms are small but adequate, beds are extremely hard (if you are used to a conforming bed, be prepared for painful shoulder & hip pressure points), it's worth signing up for breakfast--plenty of food but unexciting. Wifi... More

Staying in El Raval

Neighborhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
