Since 2009, spouse & I usually visit Barcelona once a year September-October for 7-10 days & habitually stay here. Almost all staff know us by name & greet/treat us like family. We do not speak Spanish or Catalan. Other reviewers describe the hotel's excellent location & outstanding staff. I've witnessed front desk/reception & chambermaids deal with guests having problems several... More

A charming hotel some 50 metres from La Rambla. The Guelle Palace is just across the street. With a beautiful roof terrace with a view. Charming settings, helpful staff and spacious rooms. A stunning replica of Gaudi's mosaics in the lobby.

We stayed one week at Gaudi Hotel. The staff were really helpful and friendly. The location was perfect, near the metro station and close to La Rambla Street but I prefer the next visit to stay in an hotel situated on Catalunya street . The breakfast was good. The roof terrace had superb views of the city and Guell Palace.

If you want a fabulous experience of Barcelona - then stay in the heart of the city. This hotel was excellent. Walked to everything...beach, old town, markets etc . How fabulous was the little plunge pool/spa on the roof terrace overlooking Gruell Palace (Gaudi designed!) Truly spectacular place to rest and look over the entire Barcelona cityscape. Yes, a little... More

Have just had a three night stay here which we booked in January. When we arrived, there was a problem in that there had been a clerical error and our room was double booked. We were asked if we would mind staying at a different hotel for one night and we would then be upgraded to a superior room with... More

We stayed 3 nights at Hotel Gaudi, the location couldn't be faulted. Just off lLa Rambla road and really close to the underground metro, so a great central point for our stay. We were on floor 4 so no views from our room, but we were able to access the roof top terrace which had stunning views of the city... More

The title sums up the positive aspects of this hotel, the location is wonderful and if you get a room with a terrace this too is wonderful. However, the soundproofing is non-existent, the beds are thin and hard and the staff are not friendly. But for a short stay in a central spot this is sufficient.

I would have preferred to give a 3 and a half. A superb location - just off La Ramblas and opposite Palace Guell - and a good sized triple room all of which was marred by a truly awful breakfast. To be positive, we stayed in a superior room which gave us a level view of the roof of Gaudi's... More

I couldn't have said it better then whomever posted the earlier review titled Find another Hotel" We stayed 5 nights and returned to back to the USA yesterday. Our bed was like sleeping on a hard floor, Not 1 English TV channel , breakfast was HORRIBLE ate there once eggs cold and tasted like crap. As for the thin walls... More

Traveling with two small kids in tow can be a challenge, but the location of this hotel made it simple. We could walk across the street to the Gaudi palace and buy tickets for the whole family (no need to make the kids stand in line!) and catch the bus a few blocks away for a 20 minute ride to... More
