I had an excellent room, great facilities and the hotel was in a good location. My only issue is that at the rate I paid (£95 per person, per night), I do think that breakfast should have been included.

This hotel was selected for me but I stayed on after my conference. Well located but the rooms give on to the streets (Muntaner and Londres). Hard floors mean that one's neighbours above are are audible if wearing shoes, and running water in bathrooms also heard from time to time. Not a place to forget your earplugs - I bought... More

The service was aweful. The front desk receptionist which was a rude, angry lady was the worst. I asked to speak to the manger and she said he was on vacation and she was the assistant. The room was very hot and the AC was not working. We had to pay to use the safe and on top of it,... More

Nice area, good for shops, cafés etc. We were happy to travel on foot from here but metro near by. Helpful staff, and really good large rooms able to comfortably accommodate our family of four. A good base from which to explore Barcelona on a short break.

The room was very spacious. There was no noice from the street. The room was equiped very well, excellent bed. The location of the hotel was very good, 12 min walk from metro 'diagonal'. There are a lot of cafetaria's in the neighbourhood. I have three remarks: we could hear the neighbours above us flushing the toilet and walking on... More

We stayed one night at this hotel before driving to the airport and compared to other 4-star hotels this was below standard. We had booked through priceline's "name your price" and got a good rate. But when we got there 75euros was added due to the fact that we had a five year old with us. The room was very... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
