Perfect Location 2 minutes from La Ramba. Plain and basic but affordable, great value for the budget traveler. Reception staff are great and helpful. Rooms near lifts can be noisy at times. Restaurants close by.

My girlfriend and I visited Barcelona and were looking for cheap accommodation. This hotel met that requirement. The bedroom was just that, four walls and a bed. The bathroom was small, but functional. In this city, it was all about location, the hotel is purely a place to sleep. It had everything we required, and is perfect for tourists aiming... More

Brilliant location Very good and friendly staff 24hrs Very good for room servicing Clean and tidy rooms Fast wifi No hairdryers in rooms No keycard system, old fashioned having to hand key in to reception Decent bathroom Poor heat control on shower Air con not working correctly Kind of noisy late at night on weekends Overall a decent enough stay,... I stayed at Call for one night in Barcelona. I was first greeted by a very friendly and helpful receptionist, and then by a very basic room. It had a window opening to the courtyard(?), which acted kind of as a tunnel, in the way that anything that was said by anyone in the rooms with windows to the courtyard... More

This is my second visit to this hotel this year - how very remiss of me not to review it first time around. There's no restaurant but you know that when you book it. But this place is so central you'd be kicking yourself if you had to take dinner in the hotel every night and pass up on all... More

Hotel Call....what a pleasant surprise! Central, clean and comfortable. This is not a luxury hotel by any standards, it's not a hotel with coffee/tea making facilities. But having said that there are many reasons why you should book this hotel... The location. Literally a few minutes walk to all the big attractions. The price! The staff here are SO friendly... Very central hotel which is only a 3-4 minute walk to La Rambla. It does what it says on the tin: central accommodation with basic rooms at a great price. It's located off a side street and can be difficult to find after a night out!! Also if you are getting a taxi from the airport, they will only be... More

Stayed their for 2 nights. Its very close to the main shopping areas andthe market and a pleasant walk to the beaches and marina. The rooms themselves are clean and tidy but quite basic. The hotel would be more suited for a quick weekend break rather than a 2 week summer vacation. Difficult to find late as night as in... More

Stayed there for 2 nights with my family. Very comfy and the location was great, a little scary to arrive at midnight because there is absolutely nobody around the gothic at that hour in winter. Very quiet place. I would recommend it.

We visited Barcelona for one night with two other couples. The taxi driver complained of the size of the street which was tiny. We found the staff to be very friendly and spoke English well. Very secure hotel with buzz-in front door and cameras on very floor. Good accommodation for the price, but could do with a refresh, especially in... More

Staying in Barrio Gotico (Barri Gotic)

Neighborhood Profile
Barrio Gotico (Barri Gotic)
With its iconic, old-Europe streets and alleys, this picturesque neighborhood is the very heart of Barcelona. It blends historic artifacts from its days under Roman dominion up through the Spanish Civil War with a vibrant modern-day culture of artisan shops and authentic culinary experiences. Avid explorers will be thrilled to discover quaint terraces and plazas brought to life by the many small bars and local musicians lasting late into the night. Fashionistas will be drawn to Portal de L’Angel, which is lined with well-known brand names and smaller boutique stands.
