We stayed in Acta Antibes for 4 nights. It was our first time in Barcelona and a good experience. On arrival the reception were friendly and the room was clean. It was basic but that is all we needed as we were not in the room much. The room was cleaned frequently and towels changed everyday. There was also a... More

Can't fault this hotel. Clean and comfortable with friendly helpful staff. Walking distance to Sagrada Familia and close to metro which is a great way to get around. Loads of local bars and cafés for breakfast and snacks at reasonable prices. Hope to return soon.

We were 3 nights at the Acta Antibes. Good basic hotel with everything you need from hotel if you're just sleeping there. Wifi was good in our room (4th floor near elevator). We heard some talking from other rooms but it wasn't that bad. Location is very good near Sagrada familia and two blocks to metro station (monumental) We were... More

It was a good stay in the hotel..clean,quiet and affordable. Receptionist are multilingual and very helpful in your inquiries. Rooms are clean..the provision of a safe is a plus but I recommend them to at least place another tv set in the adjacent room as i was housed in there but no television...it is provided in the main room though.... I booked very few days in advanced, so in general I was really not expecting a lot from the Hotel, is simple, but cozy at the same time. The staff at the front desk are absolutely helpful and can give good recommendations, the bathroom was a little dated but very clean. I can tell, the bed and pillows are all... More

Located close to metro and bus stations, as well as 5 min walk from Sagrada Familia. Staff speak french, english and spanish, are all extremely courteous & patience and a wealth of information when it comes to directions. Two downides: internet is unreliable depending on location inside the hotel and breakfast is overpriced for what is offered. Rooms are spacious... More

Good hotel that is a 15 minute walk away from Plaça Catalunya. A 5 minute walk to the Arc. And a couple of blocks from the Segrada Familia. Staff is friendly and beds are good. We did not use the breakfast. Near the Arc you have got a couple of places to buy breakfast and have some coffee. If you... More

Brill hotel. Clean. Close to metro. Close to bascilla ! And clean ! The staff were very friendly and even kept our luggage on the day after check out as we had a later flight. The room was spacious and comfortable. Very high value for the price paid ! Should be rated higher.

A nice hotel, set within walking distance to most places of interest i.e. Sagrada Familia etc. You can walk to the promenade/beachfront from this hotel, but it really is a long walk. Rooms were clean, staff friendly, and although the view was of a crossroads, we didn't mind as much as we knew this when we booked. Overall, a good... More

good location near metro, nice staff and helpful. Yet small hotel basic rooms and toiletries too limited. Have problems with the 2 pillows ( the rectangular one too flat while the square one is too small to allow head turn aside), overall saying, uncomfortable with pillows. Also weak shower and weak WIFI.

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
