So far so good! We got here at 11am and they had the room ready for us to check in! They also have scales available to weigh your suitcases, complimentary tea in the reception area, clean rooms with a great view, friendly staff, air conditioner works perfectly and absolutely in a perfect location! Literally

If this is 4 star hotel I would hate to stay in a 3 star. The tiny room boasted one of the most uncomfortable mattresses I have ever laid on complete with lumpy pillows. The bathroom had no extractor fan and no window so even the hall mirror fogged up. The shower curtain was made of the cheapest material that... More

We had a big expectation about Barcelona. We really wanted to enjoy the city. When I m making reservation I noted them king size bad. We arrived hotel they didn't give us that kind of bad. And their terrible solution was put two bad together create one bad. Whole night didn't sleep well. Because of this problem we felt sleepy... More

We are currently staying here. It's been great. The front desk staff has been more then accommodating. They really make this average hotel above average. The rooms are small but very clean and the location would be hard to beat. The only down fall I would say is the beds are overly firm to my liking but I've been sleeping... More

Everything was good, except that rooms are very small. Staff was very helpful in explaining how to travel around Barcelona. In the lobby they even have computers and printer which can be used by guests. Also there is no kettle in the room as described, but we asked at the reception and they provided us one.

My friend and I spent a week in this hotel and were very satisfied with our stay. The staff is very helpful and nice, especially Nacho! The rooms was small but very clean. What we loved most though was the location, we were smack in the middle of the ramblas and el born. Everything is within walking distance, such as... More

My boyfriend and I spent 2 nights here in June and had the best short break we've ever had. The hotel was very reasonably priced, the staff were really helpful, the room was lovely (bright, clean, quiet and spacious) with a lovely view of the roman remains, but the greatest thing about the hotel is definitely it's amazing location. Just... More

We picked this hotel as it said there was an airport shuttle, but there was NOT, which we ended up spending extra 60 Euro for cabs from/to the airport in total. The bed was so hard to slep on and the shower was so weak. However, the location was excellent and the staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast... More

Reasonably priced hotel only a few hundred metres from the Gothic Cathedral. Bus stop for the tourist sightseeing bus is close by so easy access to all city sights. Ask for a room with a view of the roman ruins as this cuts out a lot of the traffic noise. Rooms have a safe for a 25 euro deposit to... More

My boyfriend and I spent 3 nights here in May. The hotel itself is pleasant however we paid for a upgraded room and were slightly disappointed with the space and view. Overall it was clean and the maids came daily - always great to come home to a freshly made room. A couple things to note, the bed was VERY... More

Staying in Barrio Gotico (Barri Gotic)

Neighborhood Profile
Barrio Gotico (Barri Gotic)
With its iconic, old-Europe streets and alleys, this picturesque neighborhood is the very heart of Barcelona. It blends historic artifacts from its days under Roman dominion up through the Spanish Civil War with a vibrant modern-day culture of artisan shops and authentic culinary experiences. Avid explorers will be thrilled to discover quaint terraces and plazas brought to life by the many small bars and local musicians lasting late into the night. Fashionistas will be drawn to Portal de L’Angel, which is lined with well-known brand names and smaller boutique stands.
