We arrived late evening in Barcelona and were originally due to stay at an apartment organised by Housetrip.com, that turned out to be disgusting and at that late hour we were at loss to know what to do. Luckily for us the closest hotel was the EXE Laietana Palace, when we explained our situation they did all they could to... More

Lovely, modern hotel in a perfect and safe location for two young girls. A few minutes walk from the lively La Ramblas and the metro station is right across the street which we used to get around. Hotel was clean, spacious, bed comfortable, staff friendly. No complaints from us!

We are here now and loving it. Room is big enough and facilities are fine, WiFi works fine, staff are very good especially Nacho on reception who speaks perfect English. Room is clean and new towels etc daily. Location is perfect really, would certainly stay here again.

The hotel was really well situated and we didn't need transportation for anything. The room, however, was very small. If you plan on staying for more than 2 nights, and spending some time in the room, it would be better to get a bigger room. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful.

I recently stayed at Hotel Exe Laietana Palace for four nights with my girlfriend and we enjoyed our stay. The hotel staff were friendly and helped us find our way around the city, as well as giving us a complementary glass of bubbly! The hotel is within a five minute walk from Las Ramblas and Port Vell, and only two... More

Although we had stayed here 2 years ago, our room then was small but adequate, this time our room was large, with beautiful marble furniture, our private terrace; excellent restaurants very close by. Even though we had booked, Expedia was trying to get hold of us, but we were in Paris. The hotel sent us by taxi to another hotel... More

We went for long weekend. Easy to find, and a great location for stay. Sadly rooms on floor 6 were tiny. The windows are sloped in ceiling so seemed very small. The staff were friendly and helpful. We didn't eat breakfast there, instead went to Chocolat round the corner for €5 for two

Was staying here 2 nights for business trip matters. The hotel is well located in the Gothic district, all points of interest are near by... but there are no additional advantages, really. The room wasn't very clean, with uncomfortable bed and bad wifi connection and speed. The breakfast was poor, so I don't recommend to pay for it. You can... More

We stayed for one night at the beginning of October. The room was fine with plenty of wardrobe space. Bathroom quite well equipped and clean. Downsides..the road noise made sleep almost impossible without the aid of earplugs. If you are considering using this hotel, do invest in some ! The breakfast room is in the basement and consequently was rather... More

Neighborhood Profile
Barrio Gotico (Barri Gotic)
With its iconic, old-Europe streets and alleys, this picturesque neighborhood is the very heart of Barcelona. It blends historic artifacts from its days under Roman dominion up through the Spanish Civil War with a vibrant modern-day culture of artisan shops and authentic culinary experiences. Avid explorers will be thrilled to discover quaint terraces and plazas brought to life by the many small bars and local musicians lasting late into the night. Fashionistas will be drawn to Portal de L’Angel, which is lined with well-known brand names and smaller boutique stands.
