Stayed here for three nights in January 2015. Location is great, 2min walk to metro station. Hotel is spotlessly clean, very friendly staff and breakfast is great. Would recommend to anyone and if returning to Barcelona would stay here again! Fantastic

Having stayed in various hotels in Barcelona over the last decade , I find myself returning time and time again to U232 . On my last weekend visit I stayed in one of their top rooms which benefit from a magnificent terrace . The room itself was spacious well appointed and spotless. The real treasure of this hotel is the... More

We have just returned back from a short break in Barcelona where we stayed at this fantastic hotel. Booked primarily because it already had such great reviews on Trip Advisor, we had high hopes. We weren't disappointed!! This was our first trip abroad with our newborn baby (4 months) and so we were a little apprehensive about our hotel stay.... More

The hotel has such a great atmosphere. Its is located amongst great restaurants and close to the metro station, and I also did find that it was quite central so we never spent more than 10€ on cab rides. The staff was so lovely always and had no problem when we requested a late check out. The breakfast had something... More

Lovely little hotel booked by our tour group. We extended our stay after the tour for reasons explained later. Good value hotel within walking distance of las Ramblas and Gaudi's Casa Batlo and Casa Mila. Centrally located to a number of restaurants that are faraway enough ftom the main drag to be reasonably priced. Also laundromat 2 streets away (LQS),... More

I have stayed at the U232 Hotel several times, in fact it's the only hotel I stay at while in Barcelona. It's the perfect property for many reasons. First off, the hotel conveniently located in a section of the Eixample neighborhood, where there are plenty of authentic restaurants and bars. These are great because they're not tourist traps, however most... More

I had stayed here before and came back to Barcelona. I decided to upgrade to a suit. Everything matched my expectations apart from two things 1) They did not replenish my coffee sachets so I was unable to myself coffee the next day - what is the point of offering the service then? 2) You could hear people using the... My stay at U232 was on the last two nights of a 10-day trip, after staying at four other hotels/cities in Spain. It was the nicest hotel we stayed in, really perfect except for its location, which is a bit off the beaten path. Nicely furnished and arranged room with comfortable linens.Very thoughtfully equipped with clear instructions for operating the... More

I stayed with my sister and my mother on our vacation to Barcelona. We requested a triple room, and I think because of this, our stay was not as good as we were expecting. We were in a really stuffy and dark room with two windows, however there was no natural light because we were one of the four walls... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
