Just back from the most amazing weekend in Barcelona. This hotel is the nicest hotel we have stayed in for a long time. Perfect location, beautiful rooms and very friendly staff. The day we arrived was my partners birthday, when we returned to the hotel after our day of sight seeing the staff had left a beautiful cake and bottle... More

For location you can't get any better. Rooms are well appointed and comfortable with everything you need. The bar and service was great and good value for money given the prime location. Breakfast was one of the best out of the hotels we have stayed in Barcelona - the rooms where you eat is nothing short of beautiful! If you... More

I just returned from a trip to Barcelona where I stayed 4 days/nights on the hotel recommended by my friend. I am grateful to her for the excellent advice. People who like a central location (in Platza Catalunya, at the top of Rambla street), a chic and cozy place, with friendly and professional staff, I would recommend to book a... More

The hotel is located right at Catalunya plaza - excellent location from which to explore the city. The room was clean and nicely decorated, albeit slightly small. It's equipped with a nespresso machine (2 complimentary capsules per person per day), and there's also a library bar offering light snacks, tea and coffee for residents. The staff were helpful and friendly.

This is an excellent boutique hotel deserving more than 3 stars. Shame we stayed only 2 nights. The thoughtful amenities provided coupled with the convenient transport connections make this an excellent base for a Barcelona holiday! The hotel staff are also there to assist with a smile. The only thing is the room is a tad too small for both... More

We stayed at this hotel in December 2014. This hotel is right across the street from the Plaza Catalunya and in close proximity to La Rambla. It is a very well maintained boutique hotel. Our room was on the third floor with a very nice balcony view of the Plaza. The front desk staff were very pleasant and helpful. We... More

Stayed there before, very basic but centrally located and convenient. Stayed again this week and could not be in the room due to bad smell. Cleaning staff commented since rooms restored it is always terribly smelly. Reception claimed it was first time they heard such a complaint and never came back to us. (Although i must say staff have always... More

Very beautiful and clean room and bathroom. Central position which allow you to reach the most important attractions in a short time. Very comfortable beds, welcome present (chocolate and biscuits). Very very beautiful, I really suggest this hotel.

I stayed overnight with my daughter prior to leaving for a cruse in August. the location was awesome! We could walk everywhere in Las Ramblas and as i look down from my room window the train station was right below! We had an awesome view. We were met with champagne as we arrived and the staff was friendly! I didn't... More

Weekend break in November in the city. Lovely little boutique hotel. Super breakfast, and very nice that the hotel supplies free coffee and tea, wine and water in the lounge/library. Plus pastries rolls or cakes during the day, a very welcoming service and sweeties everywhere. Love the decor and a very calming place with good service and helpful staff. We... More

Staying in El Raval

Neighborhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
