very good hotel and value, it is a little far from Barcelona center but walkable, about 15minutes walk to the casa mila and plaça catalan/espana, but the price is very affordable and is well worth the price difference. but do ask for street or tennis court facing rooms, we got the inside facing room for first night and it was... as many other reviewers have said this is a modern 3 star hotel with comfortable rooms. We slept well but you can hear the rooms on either side showering. The wifi is good. We at ate cafe tomate (across the street and very good) and had breakfast at strata bakery (5 minutes walk and very good as well, and much... More

This is one of the many NH hotels in Barcelona. This is an older building and sometimes this is showing in the state of the hotel. The rooms are in general small, with very little place to leave your clothes or your suitcase. The rooms are clean and well maintained and the ones facing the street have blinds to keep... More

Stayed 3 nights. The hotel was nice and clean with basic amenities. It is a bit far to walk to gothic quarter however close to 2 different metro stations/lines and aeroport shuttle bus stop. The staff were friendly and helpful with sightseeing advice.

Location and breakfast are good. Room facilities were not satisfying. I was on a business trip to participate in the Mobile World Congress and I know that hotels in this period are very expensive but I pais more than 200 EUR a day for a very small room, internal window with view to a wall and pipes, AC did not... The location is great! It's near to bus and metro stations. The staff was very friendly and helpful although their English was a little poor.. The rooms are comfortable, quiet and clean There 's a rich breakfast but must be reserved the previous day

extremely modern & welcoming hotel, chic rooms, very helpful staff; it is situated right in the middle of a lovely neighbourhood, just a few minutes away from the Barcelona Sants train station and some 15 minutes (walk) away from the Palau Nacional Art Museum & the former Plaza de Toros.

My boyfriend and I spent a few days in Barcelona and stayed here. Great location, not too close to downtown, very close to the train station. Great customer service (which I normally don't expect in Europe!). A double bed was not available when we tried to check in but the front desk receptionist offered us free snacks and drinks while... The best way in my opinion to get to NH Eixample from the Airport is to take the A bus. This is what we did and it worked out great. It costs only 5.90 euros per person and takes no more than 20 minutes to get to Urgell. Don't exit the bus on plaza Espania or you would have to... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
