The hotel was previously know as NH Master. First of all the hotel is well maintained. Our room was clean tidy and unlike other reviews I have read it is in very good condition and very well maintained. To me our room seemed better than a 3 star. The location of the hotel is superbe. You can come from the... More

The hotel offers the essentials for a long weekend, free coffee in the lobby, and friendly staff throughout. The rooms are very small, space for wardrobe for 2 people is insufficient. Bathrooms are okay and almost Niger than room itself. Quality of bedding is good. Temperature of rooms too high. A very, very strong negative experience is the noise level... More

Strategic Position close to the center and close to the airport, amazing breakfast, friendly staff, quite nice rooms and competitive price, highly recommended for both business or leisure visit to barcelona.

The room was freezing. Air conditioning did not warm the room at all. It was difficult to sleep while feeling cold. Brekfast was good. Staff ok. The room was quiet, to the inner cord. Tv wasn't working, but we didn't need it. Location was good, easy to go to see sightseeings and easy to come from Sants station.

Great neighborhood, friendly staff and nice rooms! I would definitely stay here again. Blocks away from the metro but several blocks from the bus stop (airport bus) will make it tough if you are hauling luggage, but it is a great way to explore Eixample.

This is my 5th night in this hotel during a business trip to Barcelona in Apr.2015 My room no. 311 has a view to the Valencia St. The traffic noise is a bit annoying specially at nights. The walls are thin so that I can hear what happens in neighbouring rooms. I am a heavy sleeper and can go to... More

Just stayed here for two nights and loved it. The hotel is slightly out of the centre (2 stops away on the under ground) we loved this as is ment that we could experience some traditional bars and restaurants on our way back from the hustle and bustle of the centre. The hotel is run by friendly staff who are... More

very good hotel and value, it is a little far from Barcelona center but walkable, about 15minutes walk to the casa mila and plaça catalan/espana, but the price is very affordable and is well worth the price difference. but do ask for street or tennis court facing rooms, we got the inside facing room for first night and it was... as many other reviewers have said this is a modern 3 star hotel with comfortable rooms. We slept well but you can hear the rooms on either side showering. The wifi is good. We at ate cafe tomate (across the street and very good) and had breakfast at strata bakery (5 minutes walk and very good as well, and much... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
