extremely modern & welcoming hotel, chic rooms, very helpful staff; it is situated right in the middle of a lovely neighbourhood, just a few minutes away from the Barcelona Sants train station and some 15 minutes (walk) away from the Palau Nacional Art Museum & the former Plaza de Toros.

My boyfriend and I spent a few days in Barcelona and stayed here. Great location, not too close to downtown, very close to the train station. Great customer service (which I normally don't expect in Europe!). A double bed was not available when we tried to check in but the front desk receptionist offered us free snacks and drinks while... The best way in my opinion to get to NH Eixample from the Airport is to take the A bus. This is what we did and it worked out great. It costs only 5.90 euros per person and takes no more than 20 minutes to get to Urgell. Don't exit the bus on plaza Espania or you would have to... More

Convenient, comfortable hotel, good location , the proximity of the center, for those traveling under its own power - are located near the bus stop and from the airport, the rooms are comfortable and showers and fresh, friendly staff.

Service, as always, was excellent, my room quite comfortable and welcoming, the location is ideal as its just a few minutes walk from the City Centre and main Sants train station. Best of all the new OPEN BAR which is located on the ground floor opposite the reception area.

Found this Hotel for two nights stay in Barcelona before return flight home. Neighbourhood very convenient for short stay. Did not try the breakfast buffet which cost an additional 11€. + Clean room and very friendly staff. Good Value for single traveller. - Dark room with window facing small indoor-courtyard of 3x3m only so basically staring into neighbours. A/C in... More

It's a bit outdated, but if you need a place to rest your head that it is in a decent enough location, it's a decent option. Wifi works well, and I had a standard double room which was clean and roomy enough. The single rooms are TINY, I would only suggest it if you were deciding between staying there and... More

My wife and I were given a clean, quiet room with very comfortable beds. The front desk woman was very helpful in giving us her opinion/advice regarding our many questions. The hotel was easily arrived at from the airport, well located in Barcelona and we had reasonably priced parking nearby.

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
