Perfect Gem in a perfect location. This is the "old Barcelona" but only steps away from transportation, sites, restaurants, the Ramblas. The staff was very polite. The breakfast is not the best , but that's no big deal. There's a small breakfast restaurant just doorsteps away on the right hand side of the street as you walk towards the Ramblas.... More

This Hotel has a perfect location! it's in the best part of barcelona.. to get in the center of this sizzling city... it's located between "Las Ramblas" and "Portal del Angel" so it makes easy walk to any attraction in the gothic & raval areas. Also you have the metro and train station at plaza catalunya, so you can get... More

This Hotel was perfectly situated right next to Las Ramblas in the best part of Barcelona, so location wise it does not get better. It is clean, with nice bathrooms, but dungeon like dark rooms, which are actually great for sleeping. The breakfast is included (at least it was for us) and it was good, nice fresh breads and butter,... More

This hotel is very well located if it is your first visit to Barcelona because it is close to all bus stands (hop on hop off buses, local buses and specially the bus to/from the airport), taxi stands and close to ALL shops/malls (I would really recommend shopping in Barcelona even for men). It was a relief to discover our... More

Really enjoyed our short break here. It was spotlessly clean, the entrance hall, breakfast room and reception were elegant and seemed not to have changed since the 1900s. Our room had air conditioning, cool marble floors, a large bathroom and two large comfy beds. There was double glazing and black-out curtains so it was extremely quiet, so set an alarm... More

Located about 30 meters off la ramblas. Rooms were clean and modern. Only downside was a broken air-conditioning unit the first night, however this was fixed promptly the following day. Hotel staff were both helpful and friendly with any enquiries. Will definitely stay again!

This hotel was clean and the room and bathroom were nice sized. We even had a balcony, which we took advantage of. The hotel staff was pleasant and spoke English. The room price does not come with breakfast and I was told the breakfast at the hotel wasn't good. The hotel is right in the middle of things -- near... More

nice, clean hotel in the centre of Barcelona, just off Placa de Catalunya and Las Ramblas. Right accross the road there is El Mos, a nice pattisserie where you can get breakfast for 3 at abt EUR 10-15,- total. Nice spacious room (triple) with good bathroom. Only drawback was that this room did not have a proper window (the window... More

This is a top-notch location, right in the centre of beautiful Barcelona. Our room was small but clean and the mattress, as requested, was firm. For such an excellent location, there was no traffic noise whatsoever. However, if anyone flushed the toilet anywhere in the hotel, we heard it. The staff was friendly and courteous and we enjoyed our two... More

First trip to Barcelona. Cancelled another hotel reservation and booked at this hotel before departure because of Rick Steve's travel guidebook recommendation. When we arrived, we were told that our credit card did not go through so no reservation and no room availability. Then they changed their mind and said we can be accommodated. Unfortunately, I had a family emergency... More
