Nothing special but nor is it especially awful. It's becoming a little shabby but fine if you get a cheap deal. The location is convenient. The nearest metro, Hospital Clinic, is only a short walk away. There is traffic noise but we didn't find it excessive. A perfectly adequate place to stay, although only if you find a deal, not... Room and bathroom were larger than I thought they would be for starters. Room was a little hot, but once we figured out how to work the AC we were ok after that. Breakfast was so, so. For 11 Euros it could have been a lot better. Staff were extremely great to us and gave us a lot of recommendations... More

We stayed in this hotel for five nights. The first night we did not sleep because of the road noise and because of the room was so hot. We ask for help with the thermostat that was without the lid and the staff said she could't go because she was the only one in the hotel. We have changed the... More

The price is quite fair, but Location is not great. It seems, that subway is very close on the map, but it is not completely true. The district is not very clean & noisy enough. It is not definetely walking area to have a relaxing and romantic walk in such a beautiful city ;) the hotel is "tired enough";) Not recommended for a... Mid class hotel on a good location. Might get a feeling that your bed is on the middle of a busy street since like in most of this level Spanish hotels the level of sound protection is zero. You can also hear all discussions from rooms near you. Better to be really tired when you try to get sleep. Room... More

The location is ideal. All the employees are great, especially Oliver. He was very helpful and made us feel right at home. It's a great hotel. Hotel is located within minutes away of main train station, Sants. The one that you take from Barcelona's airport. The neighborhood is very safe. Loved our stay.

The hotel was very nice but seemed to be more for business people. No tea and coffee making facilities in the room . The breakfast was very good and staff helpful. This hotel is quite a walk from the city center ok for us . No English TV .

Hotel is located next to loud junction so it is not very quiet in the rooms. Double bed was in fact two single beds which were easily moving away. Air condition is very poor, it either was not working or working loud. Breakfast every day exactly the same, nothing special. Pretty good location but I am sure that with this... More

Had the pleasures to overnight at the Hotel Viladomat in Barcelona. We arrived late but the staff were very friendly, the room was spacious and hotel facilities were very all there. Spanish breakfast was nice. Well worth staying of you were on a budget.

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
